Surely someone is going to do a Lynn Davies dish? Maybe a deconstructed crumble with the crumble bit being the long jump pit.

IIRC, Lisa has a fish allergy, so we might get another chef judging the fish course. My guess is Spencer.

I was wondering about that too. I'm a bit distracted by them to be honest! 😂 I've never seen tattoos like that before.

I mean, it's less 'tattoo' and more 'paint.'

I was wondering if both of them have tattoos that might be considered offensive in some way? So they have to be covered up for television?

Hearing the bit about sustainability I’ve just realised that all the traditional British grains or local to Yorkshire/wales are going to need to be imported to Paris. They should be looking at seasonal in France at whatever time. (I don’t know what difference if any that would make.)

Yeah, I was wondering that, but surely a long sleeved t-shirt would have been simpler.

Whenever someone says 'ancient grains' I just think of grains that have passed through 200 generations of farm animal.

That's a good point but I guess that what will be available in Paris in the summer isn't necessarily available in the UK at time of filming. Like the chef (Kevin?) that had to dump his English peaches and use pears instead - despite it being a peach Melba based dessert.

Larkin's dish looks banquetty.

Just catching up with tonight - they are all much better than last week; far more measured and supportive of one another. And we've got the lovely Tom who was my favourite from last year.

It was just a restaurant dish. I still don't know what the inspiration was.

He should have bought some Warburton's.

and tbh much as I’m liking Lewis I’m not getting the sardine thing though I do like his refreshing honesty

I'm a bit meh about this episode, but am not watching "properly".... Good to see the tall chef with the tight top again, though! 🤣
