A few years ago there was a female Thai chef who competed in the South East heat. She was brilliant, scored higher than most people but didn't get to the final because it was one of those heats where you have two really excellent chefs. I wished they had got her back instead of this underwhelming lot.

Just googled her. Kim Ratcharoen, now head chef at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, so probably too busy for this kind of stuff.
