I couldn't see another thread, is anyone watching? I thought the opening pro number was fabulous, loved the skate through London.

Will be interesting to how it is with Stephen and Holly, they seemed relaxed together when he stood in for Phil.

Why did only 3 judges get to comment? Where was Ashley?

Johnny Weir was judging instead. Ashley has other commitments.

I hope Ashley doesn’t come back. It was better last night with Johnny Weir.

I’m not usually a great fan of Lou but I haven’t cared for the undermarking and some of the remarks from the judges.

I presumed she was joking when she said that backstage the atmosphere was ‘toxic’…

Now? Chinny reckon.

Folk will have favourites but the judges should be fair.

And aye. I preferred Johnny Weir. Ashley can keeeeeeep dancing. (Another show where judges make no secret of their favourites…)

I find Miles incredibly watchable, he's so fast and effortless on the ice.

I think he at least deserved a 9 from the other 2 judges.

So do I.

And Amber spends half this routine being carried about and she'll be over marked.

The scores is all over the place. Miles was much better than her.

She needs to let go more!!!

Agreed, on DOI it's rare to really relax when you watch the slebs but he looked so assured.

Odd that they've suddenly stopped over marking Amber, she seemed much the same as previously. Fair though, much less independent skating than Miles and Greg.

I detect a bit of tension between the judges. T & D seem to be contradicting the other 2.

I think that's fair for Ricky, he's decent but there's a gap in ability between him and the three earlier skaters.

Ricky was FAR better than Amber!!!

Maybe- it's always difficult with a talented female dancer, they hold themselves so well in lifts/ arabesque that I forget the rest.

In my defence, I thought Amber wasn't as good as Greg and Miles tonight.

I think Adele is quite inspirational and I love that her bag was peeping out of her leggings. But 36?

9.5? I didn't think she was better that Miles. But what do I know , I thought she was a bit wobbly sometimes.

Adele looked fabulous and is inspirational ( many many stomas in my family, so close to my heart) but a little over marked tonight for a performance that was good but slightly hesitant in parts. 9.5 was way too high IMO. Some other weeks she's had all my votes for being under-marked.

Agree, definitely not better than Miles.

It was joyful and I love Eddie, I was hoping for some better jumping though!

On another subject I'm finding Stephen less tense and annoying now. I've fast forwarded through the presenting for the last few weeks so he's probs just eased into it!

Aww I'm glad he did well. He's improved loads.
