I think I missed the part altogether as I was watching it on my iPad whilst ironing (the exciting life I lead!) so only saw what she said afterwards.

Plus since then have seen how abrupt Anthony seems to be.

That's also why I'm asking how she was racist as I thought I'd missed something but it appears I haven't since no one has said what she's done / said that's racist.

As I said, Diane seems to be an assertive older lady who knows her own mind and isn't afraid to express it.
