@Turkeyhen @MotherofGorgons I agree with you both, Anthony has made some really valid points not just at this round table but at previous ones too. He is so smart but what he says doesn't seem to land well with the others.

I definitely agree that Anthony is smart and made great points but his manner IS really challenging. He didn't quite say:

"Look, we all knew that if Meg walked in it would confirm she was a Traitor, so when Paul walked in instead we have to follow that logic, even though we all like him. Let's vote for him tonight because there's at least a 50/50 chance it's him which is way higher than anyone else at this table - it's not personal mate it's just maths."

THAT'S the argument and he almost said it but somehow didn't quite say it. And with all the defensiveness and interrupting people his massively valid and valuable point just gets lost.

Whereas Ross, with absolutely nothing as proof, and the weirdest glasses ever, spoke convincingly and said look i've got a 3 point list. And so a LOVELY man who added tons of value to every challenge and was also a literal hero, got thrown out. Remember him getting them the gold nuggets throwing his body over those wobbly bridge bits? A proper good guy.

I'm gutted.

Turkeyhen · 11/01/2024 23:03

I was surprised Harry didn’t keep what Jaz said about Paul to himself tbh, I think I would have kept that card close to my chest

Turkeyhen · 11/01/2024 23:05

@WoolyMammoth55 you’re dead right - Ant didn’t lay it out clearly enough because he was too busy being defensive. Also lol at weirdest glasses ever 😂

He seems to be slavishly Team Paul. More fool him as it's not mutual!

I'd be surprised if him weeping after Jonny left didn't raise some suspicions. It looked guilty as hell to me.

I’d have loved to see Johnny win!

Just in the short time he’s been on the show he seems like such an inspirational person! gutting he got voted out so early

TitsInAbsentia · 11/01/2024 23:06

@WoolyMammoth55 100% agree with your post above! If only Antony had managed to get that out with as much force as he delivers everything else!

Yes, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Paul sowing that seed in people’s minds to deflect attention from himself.

periodiclabel · 11/01/2024 23:09

Paul must be extraordinarily fun and we’re not seeing those bits - remember they’re together all day and we have a few snippets. Infuriating, the majority aren’t thinking back to last year, when Will held a similar position, though his liveability came across a bit more clearly over the

Charlotte’s arse- lickiness is annoying, but she also seems to love bomb everyone – it’s a clever tactic, if it is a tactic and not just the way she is naturally.

Jaz is a hero, bring it on - actually by telling Harry he may have saved himself for a bit at least as they won’t dare murder him. The way Harry turned on Johnny when there was no need does make me think he can backstab Paul, who won’t see it coming

Turkeyhen · 11/01/2024 23:09

I think Miles is playing it well as a traitor - no one has brought his name up, and he appears very faithfulesque at all times. I get the impression he doesn’t trust Paul one bit, quite rightly.

AnImaginaryCat · 11/01/2024 23:09

I do wonder what I'd be thinking if I was in there (as a faithful so didn't know who was a traitor) what I'd think. It's quite difficult to assess.

I think we are all a lot more easily swayed than we like to think we are, if not by the majority then by a splinter group.

Absolutely agree with the unconscious bias thing. Mentioned in the first thread the traitors being a boys' club. Then you have Anthony, who's an intelligent person and strategic thinker. Should be an obvious person to listen to, shouldn't he?

I can't understand why so many are mad about Popular Paul. Other than being a tall white older male.

TitsInAbsentia · 11/01/2024 23:18

Right, this disappointed Team Jonny member is off to bed. See you all tomorrow!

WoolyMammoth55 · 11/01/2024 23:20

I like Charlotte and I'd be sad to see her go, even though she's Team Paul I think she's fun and a good team player.

I've got no strong feelings for Tracey either way. I'd not miss her if they murderd her!

I admire Diane's strength and her insane over-confidence but I do think she has a racist bias against Anthony - who didn't let her in line before any traitors had been chosen and so therefore was definitely a traitor? - so for that alone I'd be glad to see her murdered.

Let's see! Amanda on Uncloaked is still my all-time fave, someone give that woman her own show STAT.

crabbyoldbat · 11/01/2024 23:20

Miles is just as non committal as she was yet it was Ash they betrayed very early on.
But Ash was the one arousing faithfuls' suspicions.

Anthony comes across as though he’s already in defence mode.
Not surprising seeing he was the first accused at the round table (by Diane) for no good reason. Also, although he talked over Zack, zack really, really wouldn't let him finish when they were eating earlier, and interrupted Anthony really rudely

I think Harry's got half an eye on saving up allies to oust Paul when the time comes, while staying on his good side. And his weeping did him good, I think - he was sooo sad to see a faithful go

AnImaginaryCat · 11/01/2024 23:21

Regarding Anthony being defensive and aggressive. I think when you have had a life time of unconscious (and concious) bias you would hit defensive quickly.

Same way women get accused of being uppity or the such for defending their point.

Think Anthony and Jaz are safe from murder (Paul too cautious to) but Harry and Paul will manipulate them into banishment.

I do think that Harry went for Jonny for purely strategic reasons (rather than throwing under the bus) so won't blindly support Paul. (Hopefully.)

Agree 💯

lljkk · 11/01/2024 23:26

One of the dishy blokes was shown in shower last year iirc.
And we've all seen Andrew lifting.

QueenOfDuisburg · 11/01/2024 23:30

Jaz is smart and certain about Paul. When he isn't murdered tonight I don't think he'll change his mind - he knows he told at least three people of his suspicions so I think he'll realise one of them is a traitor too and has tipped Paul off. Obviously one of those people was Harry (can't remember the other two earlier in the programme though)!

crabbyoldbat · 11/01/2024 23:33

Harry could do with Anthony and Jaz to be there to help getting rid of Paul, eventually. And I agree - Miles doesn't trust Paul either.

Did anyone else notice Paul and Harry exchanged a glance behind Miles' back as he filled in the murder sheet, in a 'he's next' way? I think I did.

MotherofGorgons · 11/01/2024 23:33

I thought Ash was very likeable on the Traitors Uncloaked. Though I still think she was not cut out to be a Traitor.

They really should have picked Mollie as a traitor. Or Evie.

Gagaandgag · 11/01/2024 23:34

Truly gutted about Jonny!
Cannot stand Paul!

crabbyoldbat · 11/01/2024 23:34

the other two earlier in the programme

Jasmine and Ross

Jasmine wouldn't believe it anyway, and Ross already suspects him but is keeping his powder dry.

Jeelypieces20storeys · 11/01/2024 23:37

Is tonight's episode not on iPlayer? Missed it & am gutted!

EddieHowesShithousingMags · 11/01/2024 23:40

Ugh can’t believe Jonny went, I thought he was ace!

Was bemused at Paul’s reaction in the tower room to ?Ant going for him as if ‘why would he do that??’ He really thinks he had this all sewn up. I’m not convinced Harry is the brightest so Paul might well be right tbh.

Charlotte or Tracey to go for me. Queen D stays on her throne as is right and proper thank you very much.
