In the series I’ve just watched they did Greek style life sculpture and slip casting, which I don’t think they’ve ever done again - too hard maybe? A lot of the makes had serious issues, but it was great to watch as the ones who did succeed were so good.

I'll be watching this tonight so haven't read the thread. I really must get my cable TV box fixed 😂

Just catching up with this and loving it. They all seem to have such interesting lives outside of the pottery. No one admitting to watching Real Housewives or Real Life Serial Killers though.

I've been trying to think who would present something like An Extra Throw Down. Grayson Perry, Harry Hill, Bill Bailey, Joe Lycett or someone else? I turned into a teenage boy, sniggering every time they said rim or bottom.

It's taken me a while but I'm taking to Siobhan, I liked Ellie when she was on.

I thought that was a challenging first week! I agree with Donna for Potter of the Week but think Shani should have gone. Close run thing though and it won't make any difference in the end. Fish and Chips man was a close second for POTW for me.

Evening! I'm always astonished by how many of the potters live in lovely houses by the sea and have endless time to pot. But I expect I'm just jealous

I had my Covid and flu vaccines yesterday so had a restless night of aches and chills. I have been drinking endless amounts of water to help recover. But I now have a small glass of champagne as well
