Alex has.

What I wouldn't give to have him berate me like that. Cor.

Last weeks was a bit meh, but I'm looking foward to tonight..

Oh good, I tried to be a bit left-field.

OK - I clicked. Hmm - interesting possibilities, Sue. But I can't quite follow it all through, somehow, to any sort of logical conclusion. Striped shirt still loses me.

VictorianPASqualor · 24/03/2008 12:10

I may be wrong but is striped. shirt. a bit cryptic?
Are the full stops there for a reason?

JackieNo · 24/03/2008 12:12

I wondered. But I never get the hang of cryptic crosswords, so have no chance of guessing.

SueBaroo · 24/03/2008 12:29

No, no, the full stops were there while I tried to breathe because I was hyperventilating. Nothing more cryptic than that. Someone significant is wearing a striped shirt. That's it, really.

OP posts:
VictorianPASqualor · 24/03/2008 12:39

They're all wearing striped shirts!!

VictorianPASqualor · 24/03/2008 12:50

I have now watched the whole episode again, and two very important characters wear striped shirts, that are very similar, possibly the shirt from the first screen capture.

Am I right in thinking [http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=22451411&postcount=422 the 5th line]] here is the right kind of line of thought?

VictorianPASqualor · 24/03/2008 12:51

Sorry 5th line here - possible spoiler

Okay I've got the significance of the shirt & the thumbs, I just need to squish it in with the rest of my theory.

Oh bugger I have a Parent-Teachers' evening on Thursday, will have to stay away from the thread until I can watch the next episode on iPlayer!

procrastinatingparent · 24/03/2008 15:04

OK think I've got the shirt and the thumbs.

But I'm not sure what it all means ...

hippipotami · 24/03/2008 15:41

Nope, still hopelessly lost, will wait for thursday.....

hippipotami · 24/03/2008 15:57

Right, have perused digitalspy, and now get it....

Will see on Thursday...

note to self, must stop with the ....

SueBollyKnickers · 26/03/2008 12:06

New preview. arf.

keepcalmandcarryon · 26/03/2008 17:43

prefer that to this one - ow they are being QUITE CROSS with each other here, no?

procrastinatingparent · 26/03/2008 17:54

I'm worried that I am expecting too much of A2A 8 and that I'm going to be disappointed.

I'm worried that too much will be left hanging in the air and I won't get any feeling of resolution.

I'm worried that I am spending too much time worrying about a damn TV programme.

SueBollyKnickers · 26/03/2008 18:15

ooo, I do want to give Alex a slapping in that one. I love Christ asking for his phonecall in the first one

PP, well, I can tell you that someone who has seen the final episode found it a very satisfying ending, and I've agreed with most of their assessments so far. I'm now going to bed early so that tomorrow comes quicker.

OracleInaCoracle · 26/03/2008 18:19

i am very excited about tomorrow now...

procrastinatingparent · 26/03/2008 19:52

'a very satisfying ending'. Now my expectations are completely ramped up, SBK. You'd better be right.

Please let them snog, please let them snog ...

keepcalmandcarryon · 26/03/2008 20:24

at pp's concerns!!!!

Ladbrokes' had snog likelihood at 100:1 this afternoon.

here are some MNers comforting one another on Friday morning if the ending is insufficiently 'satisfying'....

MrsTweedyKnickers · 26/03/2008 21:41

Love that picture!

PG hasn't been in the school playground for blimmin' ages, wonder if someone has told him about the MNers?

procrastinatingparent · 26/03/2008 23:08

keepcalm

100:1 Well that's brought me down to earth

keepcalmandcarryon · 26/03/2008 23:15

ok PP I COMPLETELY made that up - Ladbrokes do not appear to share the excitement

please feel free to float away again in an accidentally released helium balloon like manner

note to self - go to bed and stop posting tosh on MN

procrastinatingparent · 26/03/2008 23:42

you got me, keepcalm!

DH thinks I should record House and merely watch Ashes to Ashes (see last weeks dilemma). I explained, in simple words as to a child, that I might miss something crucial and would therefore need to watch it again. He gave me a 'you need to get out more look' and turned on Match of the Day.
