Oh, I haven't linked to anything to give it away. I might be wrong. But I really, really don't think I am. Was just squeeing so much my normally reticent Dh watched the relevant parts through again and he even noticed other bits that squared up with my theory.

Which led to him scowling crossly at me, because I've got a bit of a reputation for deducing twist endings and giving them away (so much so I'm normally not allowed to talk about them before the end of a film ) So I'm not going to blurt it out. You've got what you need to work it out if you really want to.

I will say this, Dh didn't stay cross with me for too long, though, because if I'm right, it's really cool.

Okay I've just watched it through (at the same time as P & P thus overdosing on Mathew McFadyen) and I don't get it. Except that GH always wears a dark shirt but when he apoligises to the desk sergeant & in next week's promo it's white, or reversed if you like.
I did notice though that on her wall chart thingy the bomb date says 'Mum dying' not mum & dad or parents so poss a bit of subconscious at play there.

I don't know how my theory resolves in Alex's real life, but it has some serious implications for another main character.

I will say this - I don't think Evan is either as bad as we suspect or as good as Alex thinks she remembers he is.

OMG - I know nothing about Dean Andrews (Raymond), but look at him without the perm and moustache - gives Gene a run for his money

Oh yeah, Dean Andrews in the DVD extras is lovely, he's got very nice eyes, too. He's got quite a good blog, too.
