Thought the Gene and Alex understanding each other was too good to last. And now she's hugging beardy. Mind you, they've done their best to make GH an unsympathetic character this episode.

And I didn't record it after all, so I guess I'll be iPlayering away.

Woah, that was a lively one tonight. Quite interesting that they let Gene, Ray and Chris start acting like the racist/thuggish/unreasonable muppets they probably would have been (I remember reading somewhere when LOM was first on that they considered making GH as racist as he was sexist, but decided against it...)

isn't matthew Macfadyen with the actress who plays Alex in real life? Was my first thought when he appeared on screen. If not then at least they were together in Spooks. Regardless, roll on next week (and hooray for iPlayer so I can relive tonight's episode in the meantime). Off to have sweet dreams of a Genie nature, I hope.
