What I wouldn't give to have him berate me like that. Cor.

Last weeks was a bit meh, but I'm looking foward to tonight..

Is it 9pm yet?

OP posts:
procrastinatingparent · 20/03/2008 12:16

No. But it feels like I have been waiting at least a month already, so it should be 9pm right now.

Moral dilemma:
DH likes House (as do I) but has to be out tonight for work so he can't watch the new episode which is on at, naturally, 9pm. If he knew about it, which he doesn't, he would want me to record it for him. But I have to watch and record A2A, or else how will I be able to watch all those will-they-won't-they bits again? And again. And again.

So do I not tell DH House is on and do what I want? Or do I record House, watch A2A and then wait a whole week before I can record this week's episode when it is shown on BBC4 next week?

How can they show two programmes about misogynistic yet strangely attractive men called GH at the same time? There is something very wrong with the world.

MrsTweedy · 20/03/2008 12:20

Watch A2A in BBC iPlayer

SueBaroo · 20/03/2008 12:23

Oh crikey, that is a bit of a challenge.

Who am I kidding? RECORD A2A, you madwoman!!

I am going to be recording both this weeks and last weeks because Dh pressed 'play' instead of 'record' on the ruddy remote. (However, yippee for Youtube, where you can watch the Vienna/window scene in full)

Good scene. Very good scene.

Good suggestion, MrsTweedy but won't DH wonder why our download limits have been so massively exceeded this month?

And I know that when DH comes in, the thing he will want most is a relaxing 45 mins in front of the telly watching a House episode he hasn't seen before. Although I guess I could distract him with sex instead. The things I'm prepared to do for TV.

LieselVonTrapp · 20/03/2008 12:50

That was amazing scene - Im re-watching it again tonite. Its the best thing on tv in years

BearMama · 20/03/2008 12:55

OMG some sadist scheduled House and A2A at the same time. Bugger and sod. I suppose I could watch it on iplayer - just takes SO long to download!

SueBaroo · 20/03/2008 12:58

DVD boxset on preorder? Moi?

OP posts:
MrsTweedy · 20/03/2008 13:33

Ummm..I don't download on iPlayer, just stream, maybe that's because I'm on a Mac

SueBollyknickers · 20/03/2008 16:04

right then, school done for the day, I can indulge in some extreme silliness. Never mind yer Easter names

iPlayer takes an absolute age to load for me, but once it's streaming it's fine. Tried downloading it but my computer was having none of it.

JackieNo · 20/03/2008 16:19

I'm liking the name change, Sue. Actually...

JackieBollyKnickers · 20/03/2008 16:21

Yay - look. Me too

SueBollyknickers · 20/03/2008 16:27

lol! Are we related, by any chance?

JackieBollyKnickers · 20/03/2008 16:39

Possibly. I think I will try to remember to use this name on Thursdays. But go back to the usual for the rest of the week. Or maybe just change randomly.

LieselBollyKnickers · 20/03/2008 16:42

Hi Guys

JackieBollyKnickers · 20/03/2008 16:43

Hello, LieselBollyKnickers.

I think you've started a trend, Sue

SueBollyknickers · 20/03/2008 16:44

oh hurray! lol, I'm in fashion.

Right, going offline so my eldest can surf - see you later, namesakes!

MrsTweedyKnickers · 20/03/2008 18:40

Is there another series being made?
Or is it a cruel hoax?

MrsTweedyKnickers · 20/03/2008 18:52

As in Bollinger Champagne

lol at MrsTweedyKnickers. Sadly, not so good. Though it does remind me a bit of The Queen's Knickers where she has a pair to wear at Balmoral, and they're made of tweed. So you're posher than you thought

MrsTweedyKnickers · 20/03/2008 20:53

I rather like that (bit itchy though)

JackieBollyKnickers · 20/03/2008 20:54

6 minutes to go...
