Can't see Dan getting past Sonego unfortunately but if he does, he plays Carlos. Again! Although he always seems to play well against him, the US Open match was great.

If Andy makes it to the 3rd round he plays Cock!

Stefanos has Berrettini in the first round and Dominic plays FAA.

Great win for Draper in Adelaide, beating Paul in straight sets, who was top seed. They are due to meet in the second round in Melbourne!

Bit worried for Casper really, the past year (despite some notable ups) ha had far more downs, and he never has much luck in Aus (he seem to be injured this time of year).

I would have like Berrettini to be given an easy start to the year too. I saw an article where they were discussing how he was having to practice on a court that had a massive picture of his ex gf on it. I'm sure that was the main thing on his mind.
Mind you, loved up Stef can be a bit distracted, so you never know, he might have been up all night stroking Koalas with Paula or something and not be quite prepared.

I've just remembered Stef asked Margot Robbie to call him after getting to the Final (or semi, forget which) of AO last year. And that Melbourne was his favourite city.

Casper didn't seem to be in a winning mindset last year when you compare him to the others. He needs to work on the mental aspect I think or to just have a good rage now and then - smash a couple of racquets and shout at an umpire!

I’m disappointed Matteo has such a tough start.

I agree Chessie, I feel like he’s had the worst luck the last couple of years. I was a bit surprised he decided to play to be honest, he hasn’t played any of the warm up tournaments.

Another excellent win for Draper, to reach the final. And Salisbury is in the doubles final.

The AO draw seemed to pass me by - some interesting first round matches coming up. I feel as if I haven’t seen some players for ages like Medvedev and Alcaraz - I don’t really mind who wins as long as it’s ABD!

The new season of breakpoint Is on Netflix (I nearly switched off when the first episode started with the irrelevant Kyrgios but hopefully we won’t be seeing any more of him!)

There was a lot of stuff about the curse of Netflix when nearly all of the players featured in the series lost in he first week of the AO last year. It was interesting to see Sabalenka talking about her struggles in slams and losing her Dad

The next episode seems to be about Holger - should be interesting - they’ve already showed a clip of when him and Stan had beef at the net
