That Netflix programme does sound hilarious, I will seek it out if I ever get near the telly (I am bottom of the priority list for TV time!)

I have started watching Breakpoint (otherwise I might have to find something useful to do ) - I loved the camera shots at the beginning that how angles of the venues that the broadcasters don't always show.

The first episode is interesting ( I haven't actually watched season 1- I think I might after this)- because they keep mentioning the Netflix curse, and so far, it's causing havoc (Though it wasn't on Sakkari's mind til they put it there) .

I like what I'm seeing of Aryna though- I've always struggled to like Sabalenka, I find her a bit 'hard'. No real reason, can't put my finger on it. But she comes across really well in this, and she is actually really lovely.

Onto the Holger episode.

It made me warm to Sabalenka as well - it must be so hard trying to express things in a second language

A lot of the players seem quite fragile (and have very messy hotel rooms!)

I think Kyrgios has given up on playing and is trying to forge a career in the media anyway- and will be a pundit during the open, which is annoying, and will probably mean we may seem more of him than we would have if he'd been playing. I hate him as a player, and think he has nothing to say off court that isn't shit stirring.

It's very interesting watching the players watching other players losing- and trying not to react.

Like Alcaraz losing to Marozsan and Rune going back to drinking his water and trying to look unphased.

Good win for Joe and Rajeev- nice to see them getting back to the top and good start to the year after ending it on a high again (Not sure what it will take for Joe to ever be acknowledged by the British sporting media- he always gets overlooked by the likes of SPOTY for example- yet won his 3rd US open in a row, and second tour final last year). I always get miffed on his behalf

Jane Doubles partners are terribles for chopping and changing (even if they are related ). Lloyd Glasspool has been playing with JJ Rojer , after what seems to be a bit of an iffy split with Harri Heliovaara- they always seemed to have a good partnership.

Funnily enough, his writ injury seems to be resolved.
I know we were all concerned.

(I'm sure if he wasn't drawn against a qualifier who even his own mother hasn't heard of, the injury might still be 'an issue' just in case....).

Actually, probably a bit unfair to young Croatian Dino Prizmic- who is apparently already ranked 130 something and is only 18- so he must be doing something right.
