I think they've selected individuals who are prone to such extreme responses because it makes good telly.

They then manipulate circumstances to 'trigger' these reactions. Like giving Tasha and Paul the activity of grading the relationships into 5 years 5 months etc. And the 'honesty' box questions.

Each couple has a producer that they talk to so thry get fed stuff or get wound up or get nudged towards an opinion etc.

Then there's massive editing to skew the narrative They way they want to.

They don't need to script it, they're pulling strings all over the place.

Mafs Hysteria had a great podcast today where they interviews Lara Eyre who has her own Mafs podcast! It was really interesting especially as she said she'd interviewed Nathaniel and had to apologise to him, because she'd been very harsh on him about how he'd treated Ella. Tbf, she didn't see what he'd said about his experience and how he'd been basically manipulated into it ( and also was apparently not allowed to leave ). I'm glad as her blind support for Ella really pissed me off!

GAH!! This programme is winding me up so much. The experts (or some actual experts) need to tell Peggy she needs to individuate, she's a grown woman, FFS (she's also not classy at all. And that bloody pantomime!). They need to ask Ella what it is they are drowning in alcohol (we can guess), tell Jay she's a wonderful woman, and Luke that he's a gaslighting fucker, Brad is one too. Erica needs to learn how to discuss things calmly without going off on one (don't blame Jordan for shouting). I'm sure there's more. Shona - lay off the orange stuff! Didn't like Matt much in this episode, he seemed quite obstinate. And I never liked Adrienne! Tash - you'll have no hair left if you carry on with the braids!

Apparently Paul alluded to there being some kind of twist coming up. I don't think anything from last night constituted that, so is it coming tonight? It doesn't want to be a baby. I will be pissed off if someone has gone and done that because I don't think there are any relationships there worthy of that. If it's just that someone has got with someone else (ie they weren't paired on the show) that's not a twist Paul. That's just two people seeking solace in one another to get over the shit show you lot put them through...
