I am very sad to lose Krishnan, I don't think anyone has ever enjoyed Strictly more than he has.

I know it wouldn't be practical but I wish they'd mark it like gymnastics, so you get marks for difficulty and for execution. Some of the routines are so simple and others really complex, and it doesn't seem fair to compare them. Seeing wildly different dances both get a 9 this series has been ridiculous.

I am interested in Angela S and Carlos' AT too. I think Carlos does very well with dramatic dances; not so much with waltzes and foxtrots.

Looking forward to this. Love that tune.. Would also love to see someone doing the quickstep to Benny Goodman's Sing Sing Sing. Though it might be better suited to a showdance.

I’ve had a look at the charts, and by my calculations Angela R has the following dance’s left:

Couple’s Choice

If she gets through this week they’re going to find themselves in a tricky spot with only 2 genuinely slow dances left, though they could go contempowaft with the CC I suppose.

I’ll look at the other dancers and see who has what left to come.

In agreement re. Angela R - yet another slow number for her to sail through to the next round. Pretty sure the public voting are thinking the same given that's her been in the dance off twice in a row!

If you make it to the Final you get to avoid 2 dances completely, so some people will have some tricky choices to make.

Ellie looks to me like she has the “easiest” group remaining in terms of her strengths.

Layton has a lot of slow dances left, which may not play to his advantage - no room for flamboyance and his footwork will be under a lot of scrutiny.

I'm not sure RAngela will get through another dance off. Nigel has got a nice strong number to perform which will play to his strengths,
Bobby could be in trouble with a Jive, he needs to do something with his hands! An American Smooth will be good for Annabell back in hold......so I think the public vote will be allowed to hold this week.

Pasha and Chelsee Healey danced a gorgeous quickstep to Sing Sing Sing years ago. It's well worth a watch if anyone hasn't seen it. It was just fantastic and they danced it again in the final.

I'm not surprised by AR's dance for this week.

Ellie should be excellent as always.

I was hoping Layton would get American Smooth, but Couple's Choice will be his opportunity to throw the gymnastics kitchen sink in.

Angela S doing the Argentine Tango will suit her, especially with the kicks and flicks.

Really hoping they will put Nigel in tails for the quickstep as his last few outfits have been unflattering.

I wasn't surprised by that story @MavisMcMinty. She refers to having to tone down her own comments to other dancers: if you watch the video I posted a while back of Shirl giving a Jive Masterclass I think it's safe to say I think she can be very sharp in her comments and you wouldn't mess with her!

@LetMeJustCheckMyCitrusPocket AJ and Kai also used Sing Sing Sing for a Quickstep and I have vague memories of Ian Waite using it with one of his partners back in the mists of time!

Edited to add, I googled and Ian Waite used the song with Denise Lewis.

@CaveMum not sure how I managed to overlook the gorgeous AJ and Kai dancing to it as well, must be my Pasha blinkers which blind me to anything else 😁. Have just rewatched to jog my memory..
