If Layton does make the final, I hope he reprises his QS and his AT.
He can then either do a sassy freestyle Todrick Hall type number - or even better imho - do the opposite and go full Fred Astaire: top hat, white tie and tails.
If he did that, along with the QS/AT, I'd give him all three votes.
Not because I need him to be more butch than femme - far from it - but because he'd have shown growth and ego in check by removal of the Laytonisms that catch the eye. I compared him to Cassie in A Chorus Line. He's too good and all the little finishes/flourishes which make him him (and I do like btw) detract from the partnership itself. If he surprises me by putting all that to one side - as he's already displayed it in his cc anyway - then I'll be on board for a Layton victory, although at this point I do think Ellie has it in the bag.
