@Lwrenagain I think the Peggy/Georges narrative is really dangerous and I'm horrified the 'experts' encouraged it. Not sure if Sean and Mark have been covered but what the heck?! Was Sean on something or just backed into a corner and super anxious after all that about how needy and delicate Mark was? Mark came across ok towards the end but very unfair to keep shutting down Sean's concerns, expectation management and feelings to maintain his own peace of mind. Very silly also as it meant he was blindsided at the end.

Weird situation re Ella and JJ. Her being trans hasn't even been mentioned by the experts or anyone much and it's such a big part of her life. Either she has met a man who genuinely doesn't care, which is huge, maybe he has had previous attraction/ experience with trans women. Or he likes her a lot and is willing to give it a go despite never being interested in trans women before which would merit different advice and more caution in my view. I don't know whether it's because I finished a knitting project and haven't started a new one, so I've got nothing to knit while watching, but I found it really hard to pay attention to the latest episode.

If they create such bad matches that they aren't able to show us the couples enjoying spending time together, then there's nothing there to care about when there's a bit of "drama" as a result of a disagreement.

The drama will be the most exciting bit of the show when it's unusual and feels consequential, but you don't make the show better by simply increasing the drama ratio. Because if there's nothing else there then the drama is just vacuous nonsense.

I'm kinda worried that the only couple left together will be Jay with a violent husband who feels entitled to cheat. Married At First Sight - the show that makes tinder look like a good option for finding love.

I'm glad it's not just me who finds Peggy problematic. She doesn't seem to have a huge amount of her own interests besides socialising and her appearance and I whilst that's all well and good, she shouldn't be indulged that everyone else is the same.
If she was married to a musician or avid reader or even a charity worker who spent time volunteering at foodbanks, whatever it is that person does in their free time is not her business to shit on.
I don't understand why some of these couples don't have the capacity to realise a marriage isn't being attached at the hip and separate interests are actually healthy.
I think if Peggy's special hobby was beatboxing of calligraphy, Georges would ask to try doing it with her, Peggy hasn't been shown to once say, "let's play some Mario together" etc, she's just much her way or nah. And she isn't holding out for sex because she is scared of being hurt, she's even said things like, "give it all away", it is definitely coming across like she's weaponised sex.

Jordan's thinking is very logical and black and white IMO, he really struggles to put himself in Erica's shoes and that mixed with being anxious and having OCD makes me wonder if he's ND. I do mostly agree with him though, it's not his fault that all the girls were raving about the wife swap (mostly because they're not keen on their own husbands) and Erica then decided she'd missed out hugely.

It was brilliant when Laura's 'friends' gave Arthur a grilling and then said 'don't you care about what we think???' - and he's just like 'nope'.

Peggy needs melting down and being made into something more useful I think. Maybe a new joystick for Georges - who I hated at first but now think is actually probably pretty decent when he's not playing up for a camera.

I like experiment Laura and I love Arthur. They look great together, seem so comfortable, actually appear to enjoy each other etc. But the real world will destroy that. He just isn't her type, he won't fit in her world. They definitely have thrived in the experiment bubble but when that pops it is dead in the water.

I also think that Roz has created this character for herself. She's the wild, sex mad one. Thomas (appears) calm but very willing to push himself. I think she's realised that this time she can't use the "oh I'm just too much for him to handle in the bedroom" or "oh I'm just too wild for him" as an excuse and is faced with actually having to be her real real self, who she doesn't know.

I think he's changed so much in the experiment and properly came out of his shell. He'll do fine after it's finished. She'll go right back to her former life.

I think Jordan has OCD issues with his hair too because at some stage Erica said she arranged it (his curtains) because she knew the way he liked his hair to be and it had moved.

I think with Ros she's not as pretty as the others, she's quite spoilt and wants things her way, and she's using the sex toy thing to attract attention in a group of attention seekers. I think she's going to bitterly regret it when she's back in the outside world. It's just about the least classy thing she could do, really.
