I think it was interesting the experts didn't let Bradley and Shona loose in the commitment ceremony/meal etc, I think that was wise. I am not sure if either of them really and truly understood the dynamics at play.

I think Tom is lovely and that him and Roz are really well suited - when he challenged Arthur he started by asked as the question was whose relationship was fake, Tom and Roz have aways been quite open.

I fear that George can't control his raging hormones for much longer. Peggy is sweet but not the sharpest tool in the box and looks a little plastic (surprised JJ isn't tempted). Neither of which probably bothers George as a bit of a sex pest.

I really didn't warm to Laura on her wedding day. Seemed really stuck up but without the background to vaguely carry it off. But she did a good job for Shona so maybe I was hasty.

I must confess when I saw Peggy I made an assumption about what her personality would be like (like Ella basically) and was very wrong. She seems sweet. It's clear all the work she's had done is because of insecurity.

JJs hair has got to be a toupee or 'hair system' as they are now known. It's just got that lego head look - no way is the bit on top his natural hair!

I'm hoping the experts spoke with Shona off camera and follow up with several personal counselling sessions so that she can untangle from Bad and learn to recognise coercive behaviour. Anything less is just negligent imo.

The trailer for next week put the unkind thought in my head that Peggy was the less attractive and less smart of the daughters in her family, and that can't have been easy for her as an adolescent.

On JJ, someone mentioned his drawling voice earlier and I think that's part of the problem I'm having with him. He never sounds interested at all. He sounds bored and that he wants to be anywhere else. You could only tell that he really was interested in Ella because he blushed crimson.

@viktoria, may we ask why the format has changed so much this year? Instead of seeing the couples alone, getting to know each other, we’re seeing couples meet up for drinks and gossiping. Last week in between the commitment ceremony and the dinner party there was just one episode, and we didn’t see two of the couples at all. Does it get better or is this just the way it is now?

Ella said they were trans when JJ was there but tbh I can't remember if they elaborated any more than that. Since trans can mean - I change my pronouns some days but have no body modifications at all - maybe JJ doesn't realise? It is blatantly obvious but JJ isn't the sharpest.
