It seems unlikely that the Army would have separate parties for those who fought on the the front line and those who didn't.

I finished the series last night and was a bit underwhelmed by the last episode. I'm glad to read there will be a Christmas special!

I agree I think that Julian's investments will bring in money and solve the financial problems.

I’m glad I found the spoilers thread, I couldn’t trust myself on the no-spoilers. My prediction for the final episode is a baby girl called Mary. I think the golf course may still come to pass even though they wanted the house too.

I’m so sad to see this series end. I’ve watched from the start as I’m a huge fan of Horrible Histories, but my son asked to watch Ghosts from the start so I’ve juggled watching the new series and rewatching it all with him. No more Pat Butcher, I’m so sad.

Loved this show but a bit disappointed with the last episode.
Can anyone explain why Alison wasn't more annoyed with Julian and would now trust her baby in the house with him?
Her acting was brilliant in that she was furious when she found out and I know his speech was good I just thought it needed a bit more?

But it's not the final episode. There's a last Christmas special which hopefully will draw it all to a close. I think Julian will be provide their means to stay at Button House from his investment. So he will demonstrate his commitment to Alison and her family.
I agree that if this were a 'drama' I'd be questioning how readily Alison 'forgave' Julian, but as it's a comedy about ghosts I'm happy to suspend belief on this bit.

Well it arrived in Australia on ABC about two weeks ago and I binge watched. Wonderful. Lots of loose ends for the Christmas special.

Yes. I watched it a couple of weeks back on prime then it was on the BBC the following day so I watched it again. It didn't do well when it was first released but it gets better with each watch. Ben Willbond as King Phillip is something else!

I agree that Bill is a fantastic film. The cast wrote it and play more than one role in it too. Jim Howick as Christopher Marlow was hilarious. Laurence Rickard (Robin) had me laughing out loud with the "tool that makes people talk." It's the perfect film if you're missing Ghosts.

He is very like Robin in the Lope Lopez role.

I often watch that scene when they're singing Bleak Midwinter when I want to feel Christmas-ie but just a little sad too: it's beautiful

Am I the only one that thinks Robin is quite attractive? Much more than Humphreys Head, anyway 😆
I'm hoping that it's his character which I'm finding appealing rather than anything else 😆
