I wasn't too keen on Haz before but after the dog debacle, I shall dislike him forever. My pet has been missing since July, if I found out someone else had her I'd be moving heaven and earth to get her back. Bodie's owner is being very restrained.

Think Jane's is a four bed.

Bed 1- Jane
Bed 2- Sam
Bed 3- David & Aaron
Bed 4- Nicolette & Isla?

There will definitely be a storyline which will involve someone moving into the penthouse.

Sam is in the UK visiting Mike (Jane was meant to go too). She'll be back after Mike has his accident and dies (this is a prediction, not a spoiler but also a spoiler as it's deffo going to happen 😉 )

I think she was asked but chose not to. I’m not surprised as she’s very talented so probably doesn’t want to get locked into one character.

That makes she wanted to leave the character but bad for us viewers.

That's so sad, sorry your pet has been missing so long.

I really dislike Haz!

I want to like Haz, and he started off ok. But it’s bizzare, he comes across spoilt and petulant. He’s incredibly immature.

Does Sam have a living mother? I can't remember what we were told about her background or how she came to be in Erinsborough. She arrived a while before her dad Mike, so who was she living with then?
I'm just thinking that suppose something happened to Mike and he died/didn't return, then surely Sam also wouldn't return to Jane either, she'd go back to her mother because she doesn't seem to work at the hotel anymore she'd have no reason to stay.

In the finale Mike said he and Sam's mother had divorced but I don't remember further details.

Sam was working at the hotel at the start of the reboot I think, but the writing is very inconsistent/ patchy so it just hasn't been covered recently plus she has gone to visit Mike.

I realised the reboot reminds me a bit of the period of Neighbours made during lockdown - just a bit awkward and lacking the easy closeness there once was. I've been watching some of the older episodes on Freevee from 2015 and it was much better back then - storylines more intertwined, characters interacting more naturally. It was a more appealing place to be in my opinion!

I took a break from neighbours over Christmas and am just in the process of catching up. I sort of feel like the new characters aren't getting a lot of screen time which is making it hard to get used to them and see them integrate with the old characters.

I'm also not enjoying the toadie/therese/Melanie thing. I didn't want toadie and therese together but then I started liking them but now having switched on after Christmas I want toadie and Mel back. Its like they have different writing teams and one is pushing to toadie therese and the other toadie Mel and now I have no idea who to root for.

Sad to see chloe go but not sad she took Ellie with her. I think I'd quite like to see chloe's eventual end played out.

There also seems to be quite high unemployment in ramsay Street. David, Aaron and nicolette were all unemployed when they moved back in with Jane (also now also presumably unemployed since the school closed). How do they afford it? Therese also unemployed at this point too. And plenty of others with jobs that they never go to.

While I didn't really like Toad and Mel together I've seen a different more serious side to her.
Yikes it's all terribly awkward with Terese shooting daggers.

She's just a cardboard cut out ,totally one dimensional .
Literally don't care about Sacha, Sachas wife,Kiri blah blah
She's more boring than Elly, which is saying something.

like they were treating us as if we had short attention spans like hollyoaks does.

@greengreengrass25 nearly everyone in it is hideously dressed. Why? I can't believe they have no flattering clothes in Australia.

She could look so much better

Holly's backless shoes always look a size too big for her feet.

thise Dresses Holly wears make her look like she’s off clubbing ten years ago.

if I were holly or Mac I’d be wondering what I ever saw in Haz after this weird Trevor behaviour.

i agree Leo makes no sense as a character. He’s usually just there, with no emotion or story or anything. His rant against Krista was very out of the blue.

When i see hollie, Sadie and mackenzie walking along the beach in the opening credits I always think they've walked straight out of Etam in the 90's. Also finding therese a bit dowdy in the reboot too.

What always catches my eye in that shot is that Mackenzie seems to be having a bit of difficulty walking on the sand in her long trousers. 😄

I hadn't even thought of the impracticality of the outfit. No way would I wear long jeans to the beach.

I’m just catching up and on the dog episode. I didn’t think I could dislike Haz anymore but ugh what a selfish prick. How is Mack not getting the ick from his behaviour!?

Perhaps Mack and Holly will renew their bond of friendship over The Ick.
Though knowing Mack, it's more likely she will engineer a clandestine reunion with Trevor's alleged former owners.

Were we meant to know who the people in the car were at the end? The subtitles said "Slade" which made me think of Robbo.

Could they be the ones that were at New Years? I just assumed random bellends 😂
