Poor Melanie. I thought she looked lovely too.

The story with Melanie today was really sad, I felt sorry for her ☹️ I would like her back with Toadie but failing that I'd love to see her get together with someone. Maybe they can bring Clive back? I always liked him.

Leo and Krista - so they've been flirting a little, then today was their first kiss and immediately after first kiss they were in bed together! Is this what people do these days? Am I prudish to think maybe the first kiss should be just that, followed by a few dates, before sex? Also spontaneous sex so no contraception, I mean I know she's already pregnant but neither of them know if the other has any diseases.

We don't know that. Leo might carry a condom in his wallet just in case (obviously Christa doesn't, else dhe'd not be pregnant). It could also be that he regularly tests for STIs. Christa may have had some tests as part of being in hospital. Unlikely, to be fair, but we don't know it hasn't happened, and unless there's some public information storyline about the need for barrier contraceptives and STI tests in new relationships, I can't imagine they're ever going to mention it.

I am in no position to criticise anyone for going to bed with someone early on. At least they've been friends for a whole two weeks or so...

What I find annoying about Leo and Krista is that weird rant of his to Sadie, and then it’s explanation that made no sense as to why he didn’t mean that, and everyone’s cool, and now they’re an item?

It really was. I’m not fussed about the first night shag. If that was old Leo I would have gone there too (not new no personality Leo). But no one wants to be that close to another couple kissing in a daytime style tv show.

Haz and the dog story = major ick.

Hopefully trev’s separation anxiety improves now he’s back with his family.

If the point of the Haz + dog storyline was to endear us to Haz and indeed to Mack & Haz as a couple, then it didn't work on me. I wish they would all be rehomed far away.
Good to see Mack doing a bit of work today though. First time for everything.

The storyline made me feel so cross towards Haz! I was shouting at the TV that he should give the dog back. They need to kill him off, he's the worst.

As much as I dislike Haz I was really tearing up watching that. Little Trevor’s head in the window 😭
I noticed recently that he always wears really short trousers. Another icky thing about him.

But all that emotion for a dog he’s had for five months, yet we see zero emotion from him for any of the humans he claims to care about?

don’t come at me, because I’m aware this can be controversial; but I’m wondering. what with his lack of emotional unavailability in relationships, his ‘special interest’ in coffee and his reaction over Trevor, could they be laying the groundwork for Haz to get a ASD diagnosis? If not it’s a strange direction to take his character in. If I’m wrong and they’re just trying to make him seem like a sensitive and gentle guy for Mack to fall in love with, they’re going about it all wrong.

ETA: I’m in no way trying to perpetuate negative or clumsy stereotypes about people with ASD, just looking at how neighbours might portray it. They’re not known for their nuance and subtly on big issues sometimes!

Susan is staying away for another two months? We barely see Karl either. All of the other characters are being weird or boring. I'm switching off for two months until Susan returns.

Fucking thing wouldn't play today, having been relatively well-behaved most of last week. I'm usually too busy to watch on Mondays, and catch up on Tuesdays. Am I to understand that Trevor has left the street? Was there no possibility of Haz being sent away to his rightful home instead?

As much as I dislike Haz and Trevor, did Haz actually get any evidence apart from a sob story that Trevor belonged to that woman?

I'm continuing with watching in the hopes we get the neighbours we know and love back but I'm not holding out much hope.

Ok. I’m actually team Haz. He’s annoying and floppy but at least he’s a better owner than these fucks who keep losing the dog. He’s right, he could have been hit by a car. Also, I would be emotional giving up a dog that was legally mine after however many months.

They needed to rub some gravy on that family as Trev was in no way interested in them. Yes, there defo needed to be more evidence than random lady talking to housemate in park and saying he’s hers yet dog completely ignores her.

Although yesterday’s ep when they were on the beach and Haz went from standing to kneeling was an ick.

Krista really needs to speak to HR. If she was clever about it she could make it look like Paul was losing his marbles and was incompetent…

Oh good. Now we have another couple with zero chemistry. Who knew I’d be thankful for the Boo Boo’s?!

that said, I have to admit, Neighbours has won me over. It feels more like old Neighbours again, just a bit racier and with more underwear.

Are we not meant to notice that Santo is Dimato? I assumed they were going to do a thing with him pretending to be Santo but I'm not so sure now..

Omg! Is Santos Tomato!?! It makes so much sense him coming out of prison to set up a fruit business 😂
