Today Holly and Has fake chatting on the sofa as the scene started cracked me up.

And as if Nicolette could be blackmailed by someone saying “I’ll tell you mum” about a bit of love meddling. It’s Nicolette!!!

I don’t like new Nicolette, can’t warm to the actress at all. I also don’t understand what she did ??

She thought Kiri’s church friend was into her so she flirted and sent him pics in her underwear to prove it and then rejected him. He was married to the lady who is now blackmailing her.

Wendy has always been awful, not really in a ‘likeable busy body’ way, where you love to hate them. But in a baffling and annoying way. She doesn’t bring anything to the neighbours party.

speaking of party- how difficult would it has been to rustle up 5 teen girl extras to go to Nell’s party? No wonder she’s got issues…

I agree about new Nicolette. She’s very cold and hard and she doesn’t really move her face. I always disliked the character but much preferred Charlotte playing her.

Charlotte made her wonderfully evil. She was up there with Paul in the Machiavellian stakes but even Paul now is just a meddling old biddy rather than the super villain with a soft side we loved. He has had shit plots. Well, barely any plot himself tbh. He’s just attached to other people’s. Even falling out with David is a mini side plot and seems very superficial given being forgiven for buying a baby.

I hope the dodgy builders plot is not just all done now and that has a call back soon, not because I think it’s a good plot but just to show the writers are actually putting some effort in.

The plots they've had so far can't have enticed the big four back surely!
We're 66 episodes in and I feel like we've moved nowhere in regards to story development, we're still rehashing the "mysterious" missing 2 years that no one cares for because we didn't see it happen.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head @Starburst8 we didn’t see it, so it doesn’t affect or interest any of us at all! They needed to do more flashback episodes if they wanted us to become invested in those storylines rather than just ‘moving swiftly on…’

More flashbacks would have been good but at the moment I'm so over the 2 years previously.
I'm sure they could give us new storylines that are here and now.

It all seems like a divided soap show, 1 half aimed at the old viewers and 2nd half aimed at new viewers but they're getting it so wrong imo

This sounds awful but I just can’t picture new Nicolette seducing anyone. Pp is right, she has a very hard persona whereas old Nicolette seemed softer, but still evil. This Nicolette isn’t evil.

Old Nicolette had that insecurity and extreme reaction about her where as this Nicolette feels like she wants to be cool.

Totally agree with the 2 year mystery shit! I’m so ready to watch something unfold other than Has’s love life.

I think she was asked but chose not to. I’m not surprised as she’s very talented so probably doesn’t want to get locked into one character.

Is it just me or is Haz and the dog thing a bit ott? I get that finding out the dog you've had for 7months is someone else's and I'd be upset too but his reaction is bizarre.

I'll continue to watch Neighbours but at this stage I'm really not bothered it came back.
The storylines aren't gripping me and the Toadie and Mel regret storyline is just annoying me now.

I find myself asking too many questions about this dog shelter business. Way to get us hooked, huh.
Still having problems watching on that platform, and I find myself being glad if I've got through the Neighbours week by Thursday. It's a rare episode that leaves me desperate to find out what happens next.

Mel is annoying me and needs to back off Toadie and Terese! I was just beginning to enjoy T&T together and now the writers seems adamant to get Mel & Toadie back together?! Terese deserves better.

Terese only picks men that are in love with someone else - Brad (Lauren), Paul (himself/Lassiters/money/power), Toadie (Mel & probably Sonia)

Just watched today's episode... Well Leo's done a complete 180 on the Krista front.
Anyone else think it's a bit odd especially when he mentioned Krista having dinner with him and mini Leo (forgot the the child's name)

Leo's reaction today was way OTT considering he employs an unqualified teenager to babysit his child. I've always struggled with Leo anyway, he doesn't seem to fit in. The vineyard isn't really part of the programme, we never see him being a dad, we rarely see him doing anything.

I'm also over the 2-year gap. They built it up so much before flashback week then it turned out to be a whole load of drama over characters we mostly didn't know before.

There also seems to be a strange warp with some storylines dragging on far too long but others being really rushed.

I'm still watching because it's easy watching, but I'm not enjoying the new characters, I'm not enjoying the existing characters who are new, I'm frustrated with the lack of depth. There's nothing I'm interested to going back to yet.

I think Sam flew to the UK to see her dad. And who could blame her?

In the UK dog rescues hold a dog for lost a week before it is officially theirs to rehome. Then it is legally the new owners. It makes me think Haz found the dog and kept it or he stole it. Either way his response is full ick. He just gets more and more icky. How are women fawning over him!?!

I don’t think we’ve seen Nicolette on her own with her kid at all?
