I've realised why I'm taking a bit of time to settle into it - it's because the weather has been mainly crap and damp looking. There's been no sunshine, no happy street scenes or garden fun

There was a save our school protest that got out of hand and terese called her security team. One of them had a scuffle with one if the teachers and accidentally knocked Mel down the stairs. No one noticed and she was laying there injured until Toadie found her.

The thing that really annoys me about Jane is that she puts the inflection on the wrong word in every sentence so her speech sounds really odd. For example, if she was saying something like ‘what happened to Mel was awful’, she would put the inflection on the word ‘happened’ so her voice emphasises the wrong word, if that makes sense? Whereas most people would emphasise the word Mel or awful. It sounds so weird and drives me mad.

Chloe’s secret? I’m guessing her Huntington’s disease has started to impact her.

It’s probably a way to tell the American’s she has Huntington’s. Wait until they find out about Susan’s MS.

It's weird seeing Neighbours Christmas around our Christmas.

It's also weird seeing Nicolette not as her normal scheming self.

Urgh. I don’t know why but it always makes us cringe when the writers have a character make a big long list about why Mackenzie is so great. And then she’s always so smug and agrees with them.

Poor Mike. Jane could at least look as if she's interested in marrying him. Given how much she used to adore Mike, and how much she wanted a loved up relationship, being so upset when she fell for that online dating fraud etc, it seems ridiculous that she rarely even smiles when she talks to him. Clearly they're not going to have Mike in it forever, but it feels as though its just going to fizzle out instead of be a story.

I just wish she would fuck off for a few months minimum lol.

Ugh Haz is such a dick, dating holly and then being mean and miserable over Mack and Byron. If I was Mack I would be totally put off him now.

Me too! He seemed alright at the start, now he's gone all sulky and the coffee passion is not endearing. Byron is preferable at the moment.

I can only call Has playdays in my head. So if I start talking about Playdays, that is who I mean.

Both Playdays and Byron seem to have been written in the style of love from a teenage POV.

Their profiles would be:

Playdays is so kind and caring, he has a dog but he’s in to coffee because that’s grown up (meanwhile he floats his arms around like he’s explaining rain to a three year old).

Byron is such a romantic. He’s totally edgy because he used to be an escort which also means he’s good in bed but actually he loves so deeply and can only have eyes for one woman (meanwhile sulks about because his girlfriend got in a plane 4 hours ago and has text him).

It’s like Twilight up in here!

Dog seems to have disappeared of late and not referred to.

Mac gets on my nerves

Elly and Chloe don't make a good couple.

Nicolette seems to have got a personality transplant along with a new head.

And David is doing my head in re Paul.

I reckon Toad and Mel are gonna get back together.

I feel like they mentioned Chloe’s personality changes in the future as a plot that might come up one day. Suddenly shes all Machiavellian and plotting with Paul. Mwahaha!

The only time Nicolette acted like Nicolette was when she was jostling with Byron. But I guess this always happens with reheadings. Just a shame in this case that old Nicolette was a brilliant actor who gave a lot of depth to the role. This one is like a cat that lounges around, stretched out on various sofa arm rests…
