Just watched the latest episode.

2 thoughts. All this we're asking estate agents to try to find out where Mel moved to? Why didn't they just ask Sharon the address?

Speaking of Sharon, she recognised Eden so that factors in somehow.

A lot of this doesn’t make any sense but my biggest question after todays ep is… Why does Krista have an Australian accent?

So has Krista grown up in the UK with her mother, and Reece grown up in the US with her mother and their shared father?

One thing I'm irritated by is the whole "must do as my family says" thing with Reece. She's a grown woman, but always scared of what Daddy will say. Same with Krista, "I've changed my name because I'll be in trouble with my family". They are not a cult, surely, just a family! Why do neither of them stand up for themselves.

Also, from today's episode - yet another organised pregnancy with no thought whatsoever - Amy and Lance. Literally just got back in touch and decide to have a baby together. Jeez Amy, why not try parenting the three you already have but don't see!

I must stop taking this so seriously. (LOVE Neighbours though!)

I thought it was rubbish and I still didn't get how Mel was involved with Krista

It was all rather weak

Going off on the Lance and Amy thing... How did this even come about. It was heavily hinted at at the end of OG Neighbours that Amy may have been pregnant and that led us to believe something between Joel and her happened.
Was Lance even in the last episode of OG Neighbours because I don't recall him at all.

I always imagine the sinclairs to be based on the Hiltons. They both likely want to fall in line to protect the brand and avoid being cut off from daddies millions.

I hate seeing chloe and Ellie together. No chemistry whatsoever.

@greengreengrass25 I think Melanie said she was the housekeeper for Krista and her parents, it was overseas but I don't think they said where. Big jump from being housekeeper to caring enough to intervene in a drug deal to save her! I thought that was building up to saying Krista was actually her daughter but they didn't after all.

@Starburst8 In the final episode it was definitely suggested that Joel would be the father. Maybe he wasn't available for filming the flashback episodes so they pulled Lance in instead. Lance I think was in the final ep but as part of the video they watched at the end where loads of characters had recorded a message.

@WhyDoesItAlways Chloe and Elly - I agree, awful chemistry! She should have stayed with Finn Kelly's brother.

I don’t mind Amy and Lance because they have history even though she was a dick to him and it was high school.

I don’t understand why some people are so for Chloe and Elly. Elly is a narcissist that flip flops about. Chloe and Leo made so much more sense. I know I’m still going on about it a year and half later 😂

I have no memory of Melanie being a housekeeper at all. But then I didn't even pick up on it today.
I'm prepared to wait for the story to unfold as the week goes on.

Yes there was something about her and a boss, but I thought it was a corporate boss where she was the secretary/PA.

Watching today's episode - certainly wouldn't want Melanie to tell a short story any time soon! And as for all the complaints we had about the lack of chemistry between Toadie and Therese, there's certainly absolutely none between Toadie and Mel!

They should have gone with Secretary/PA. She still could have known the kids and been someone they confided in.

Housekeeper is so random. I would have accepted Nanny even over house keeper. I’m not sure I accept any of it tbf.

If Krista was at the hotel 2 years ago, why was she back a year later when she lost the necklace? Is the necklace the key to her accent like in the little mermaid?

It’s all very convoluted.

It's quite a tedious way of bringing back the old faces. Although I had forgotten about the Izzy and Mal relationship and Shane Ramsay's brief reappearance.

I love the “Nicolette” comment. Just so we all know who the random person that we have never seen before actually is.

Todays episode was a bit dull, I'm not a fan of Holly. I'm looking forward to finding out how the BooBoos and Nicolette fit into the drama, and why Paul left Therese at the altar.

I don't really see how Eden or Krista can be so badass that they can be the xause of Paul leaving rherese, the boo boos skipping town and, well, everything else.

I was initially thinking that they'd cleverly weaved new footage into the old stuff. But then it became obvious there was new scenes. But some of it is I think and it has a bit of a Back to the Future vibe for me.

I think the Izzy and Shane scenes were from the original episodes? The wedding scenes obviously. Quite cleverly done but shame the storyline isn't - so far anyway.

Yes it's very OTT

The scenes with Amy, Elly, Chloe and Ely's sister (forgot her name) and Mal are new. The scenes with Izzy and Shane are original from last year. I saw something on instagram about how they filmed the scenes with Holly looking around corners watching them and edited to mix that into the earlier scenes to make it look like she was there.

I forgot how much I like Mal! I wish he would come back and be a regular character. And Libby, I always liked her. The Kennedy clan could spread out on Ramsay St if they returned.

Also noticed today how incredibly short Holly is! She was wearing giant heels but still only a fraction of her co-actors height.
