Yes I think so too. Their scenes looked identical so probably the same. Yesterday I thought the group all sat round the table was something done where they kept only showing Mel on screen and no one else when she was looking worried while sat with everyone so that might have been added in but that was before I realised there was lots of new stuff.

I've noticed how short Holly is from the beginning, it kinda throws everything for me.

I'm liking the flashbacks but it makes zero sense, I'm sure there could have been a better way to tie up the last 2 years. I'm really doubtful that Eden is this big bad mastermind, that has caused so many people to "run off"

Also can I say just how awkward Chloe and Elly look when they kiss, it's like they've been forced.

The only one person work thing was dumb yesterday and even more dumb today.

Terese rolling her head back was me today. The writing is so unnatural.

I feel like it’s a weird thing to notice but it feels like Ellie and Chloe don’t know where to put their hands. It looks very unnatural.

yeah I want to love the drama this week but it just doesn’t make any sense; nor does it seem high stakes enough yet.

I also can’t imagine what dirty dealings David and Aaron are involved in. Although I do remember some vague drama with David before? Something to do with his work? I’ve forgotten loads!

Where he and Freya let that ex boyfriend of Freya's die and David ended up in prison because he, Aaron and Nicolette were pretending to run off in their boat?

The boat had a starting issue so he wasn't technically pretending to run off.

Re Chloe and Elly, It doesn't look natural (as in the actors don't look natural), that's why I think the awkwardness shows.

The whole flashback storytelling is so hammy! Not sure I really care any more. As if Krista and Eden could generate such fear in people.

I assumed Holly had dwarfism @greengreengrass25 ?!

I must admit, I thought this.

Google says she is 5 ft 4....

Also I imagine she is at least over 5 foot tall. (Taller than me 😢)

I never thought about dwarfism, as far as I know that's never been part of her character's story.

There's no way she is 5ft 4, I'd guess 5ft max.
I have met Karl and Susan at a meet & greet. I'm 5ft 5 and was the same height as Susan. In todays episode flashback when Holly returns to Karl and Susan's house she is at least several inches shorter than Susan and that was with heels on.

Perhaps she's related to Kylie who is a tiny 5ft tall!

Sorry, it was an assumption on my part given the shape of her face and length of her limbs. No idea though - just assumed.

Urgh also I’d forgotten how annoying Melanie can be. What was with the weird overacting at the garage. I was with Susan when she did her exasperated look to the ceiling 😂

I hadn't thought much about it but there was something in her proportions that made .e assume there was more to it than just being short. Tbh if she has got a condition that affects her growth, I'm glad they haven't covered it in a way, it's not had to be a THING, she's just the girl who was best for the job.

I'm all caught up now. I kinda wish they'd do the time hop without Melanie's second by second recap

I'm not loving Melanie's retelling of events .I think I'd be just as frustrated as Therese is if I was there in person! Hope it's just a cameo appearance to explain the back story and not a permanent return.

Melanie is supposed to be a reoccurring character like Toadie, Susan, Therese etc

Noooo @Starburst8 - I was never a Melanie fan, other than for the nostalgia of when she was in it originally.

I didn't mind her in OG Neighbours, but her comeback isn't great -maybe it's just the storyline that makes no sense.

I always liked Melanie and heard she was supposed to be a regular character so I wonder how that will work now and where she will live.
I was thinking, today they said she left a year ago. So in the space of just one year, Toadie has grieved the unexpected end to his marriage, got together with Therese and felt committed enough to marry her. He doesn't waste time!
Only one more episode of flashback week to come which I assume is focused on Paul and Therese. I'm still disappointed about the lack of Karl and Susan. Why no flashback about their two years.

Another example of bad writing was the other day when they all arrived back and Andrew was phoning work saying about Eden, the one who did the robbery at the vineyard. I don’t think a cop would say that when that’s not been proven. Surely the word suspected would be I there somewhere?

It feels like a teenager has written it. And the over acting from all is cringe. Even those who we have watched for years seem to be hamming it up.

Caught up on the flashback episodes. Was only going to watch two but dd wanted to watch all of them

I'm so confused, am up to date and have no idea what's going on and no idea how they're going to resolve it all in 25 minutes tomorrow and would imagine Reece and Byron will put in an appearance too.

I would imagine there's no Karl and Susan flashbacks because they would have recorded the new scenes whilst Dr K was touring the UK this summer?
