I was watching- but want to watch Strictly. And dh has gone to pick up the curry. Although he appears to have got lost.

I'm score watching - ADF seems to have had a bit of mind wander.

Week 2 on Strictly seems to be a big drop in level from last week- in everything- the singing is terrible, some awful costumes, the scores are all over the shop.

So I am score watching. I think Sascha has this match in the bag, ADF has gone home already.

I just flicked over and it's over! Well done Sascha.

Poor Krishnan, last week, it was bad, in a funny way- this week it was just very cringy.
For week 2- the judges are being very very harsh.

Casper and Tomas Etcheverry have just finished a really tough match- Tomas ran off with the first set, but the next two could have gone either way.

Sinner should be up next on this court.

Holger and Grigorhave just started and so far, early days, but Grigor has a break.

There was a funny clip on Holger's instagram of a Chinese man who was cutting a crop and doing Holger style slicing swings with his scythe.

Did he whack that one deliberately? Looked like there was someone up there pissing him off.

Some lovely tennis from both of them. I think Holger's back is still giving him gip.

My family are messing up my weekend - so I ended up missing the end of the match(and ds still hasn't been over- the trains are still not running-he's coming tomorrow- maybe ).

I hope Holger recovers enough in time to give Paris a good go, or I can already hear the nay sayers acting as though last year was pure luck- and Djok was not himself, you know. .

Ugo looked like he was going to give Daniil a match today, but ran out of team in the 3rd set (or Daniil stepped up a gear, not sure)!

Jarry has taken the second set, after Sascha ran off with the first one in their match. Was close though.

Anyway- the Christmas channels are officially back. I can now watch all the films I have seem before. Again. And Again.

Merry Christmas Raahh - I had the realisation yesterday that I will probably be doing Christmas dinner for 11 people (again )

I did buy some cute munchkin pumpkins from the shop today - I like Halloween 🎃

My Christmas celebrations were cut short by having to out, and then I misjudged the time the Ruud /Alcaraz mtch started.

Fizzy I am looking forward to being able to buy pumpkin spiced bagels again- I really like them at this time of year. Hallowe'en is the dds favourite time of year.

But Casper has started well- 3-0 up.

It's so hard to get the volume right. The sound is all blurry. The microphones seem to be directed at the crowd. Fergus sounds like he's in a different room. I'm a bit headachy today and it's making me feel weird. I think I mean muffled not blurry!
