I have managed to see bits of Beijing this week - was watching ADF yesterday but missed the end. He won though.

Stan sadly lost his match in Astana - it was very close though. 3 tie breaks .
Holger has just started his match in Beijing, and Carlos is due to play after lunch (UK time).

It's dd2's birthday today. She got new hair straightners after months of borrowing her sister's.

So now I will get messages from both of them , asking to check they have been switched off. .

Holger won his match fairly easily- another loss for Felix, he will want to write this year off.

We now have Sascha and Diego- and have had one or two comments re the height difference, as you can imagine.

Fizzy I have very very' hair, and have never understood hair straighterners. I'm useless when it comes to hair. Feels strange having a final teenager. Although I think she has been acting like a teenager for a long time

She is never happy, because she usually has to go to school on her birthday (the other 2 have birthdays that always fall in holidays).

Sascha lost the first set, but is 4-1 up in the second- he seems to be having coughing fit and had gone behind a backboard to choke.

It is on Prime, FIzzy. The coughing fit didn't stop him winning the set 6-1, and he looks about to take the match. Still wearing lots of chains.

Karen won in Zhuhai last week

I have lost track of what is on Prime- I think (for now ) the 500/1000 events still are , and possibly selected 250 ones. Not many tounrnaments left this year though .

And well done Karen- he must be happy with that- he was on a bit of a roll for a while, then it went pear shaped again.

I don't like the seating in Beijing. It's like a cattle mart.

The seating is very strange. Maybe it stops people wandering about too much. I'm all for that .

Yes they do look a bit penned in! I tried to watch a bit in my lunch break but the Karen/Musetti match had just finished (no win for Karen this week) and the Alcaraz match was just about to start to I didn’t get to see much!
