“My Mum, Your Dad is a British dating reality show that is set to begin airing on ITV1 on 11 September 2023. It will be presented by Davina McCall and follows middle-aged single parents heading to a romance retreat for a second chance at love which is overseen by their children.”

From a Google for the show it appears there is already 1 season of the US called My Mom, Your Dad. So presumably the same format.

Anyone planning to watch?

Yes, maybe. She has said Martin M is her type and very like her ex.

I'm hoping it's just the way the clips from last night have been cut. It's not nice seeing someone obviously so genuine so upset.

I'm really not sure Martin H and Tolullah are suited, and can see her more with someone like Martin M from how she has been with him and what she has said. She's a strong woman though and no fool, and I don't think she'll stay interested if Martin M carries on the way he has been doing.

Hmm, well i and my single friends are 60+, we observe a lot of charming good looking sleazebags and give them very very big swerves these days!

I think that the kids of the paired up parents go well together. Especially Paul’s daughter and Natalies son.

I feel sorry for Luke watching his dad be a slimy player. Do think he’s handling it well though.

I'd have preferred Natalie and Paul to go home. I think they've got all they can out of it.

I like Sharon and I agree with what she said about the intimacy workshop. But I think she should go home too. I don't think she's open to a relationship which is fine.

I feel so sorry for Luke. He sometimes has his head down when his dad is on screen.

I'm liking this show but getting a bit bored of the Martin M thing now. I'd like to see more natural conversations between the group and what they're getting up to in the day so we can judge their genuine body language with each other. People keep saying they have connections but I want to see them for myself.

Janey is very funny. She asked him the following morning if he'd put the bins out.

I'd love to know more about Sharon. She really seems quite broken. I think it's quite sad to watch. I do feel sorry for Eliott but maybe he should just give her time. She does need to start communicating with him though. She doesn't have to completely open up but meet him some bit of the way.

I totally agree with @Jellykat but some women will always go for the bad guys…….hence why they now have exes and not in a genuine respectful relationship. Habits die hard though @Theblacksheepandme

Me too. Moody, sullen people who won't communicate and wake up on the wrong side of the bed are a pain in the hoop.

I was thinking as well, it was strange when Sharon went around everyone to give them a kiss and ignoring Eliott. I think he was rightly a bit miffed by it and said something.

Sharon was off with him and it was strange @Theblacksheepandme she went round everyone and deliberately left him to last not v nice. Life's too short he should step back she is coming across as too much like hard work....

I think she's testing Eliott. Pushing him away subconsciously (or not) to get a reaction so she doesn't have to make the decision. It's sad really to watch.
