Oops got the title wrong in my first thread - have requested deletion

Starting tomorrow on itv1

“My Mum, Your Dad is a British dating reality show that is set to begin airing on ITV1 on 11 September 2023. It will be presented by Davina McCall and follows middle-aged single parents heading to a romance retreat for a second chance at love which is overseen by their children.”

From a Google for the show it appears there is already 1 season of the US called My Mom, Your Dad. So presumably the same format.

Anyone planning to watch?

Is this the show that was billed in the media as an upcoming middle aged Love Island earlier this year?

Caroline! I thought I'd done so well with all the names...

If two are departing tonight, then I agree with a pp that it should be Paul and Natalie. I think the work of the house is done with those two. It looks like their kids will give their blessing and they just need to see if they can make their connection work in the real world.

Wry good summary @DevonSeaSwimmer ! The kids are all lovely and I do feel a bit sorry for new Martin’s son as he must feel a bit awkward. I wonder if any of them are together on the outside now? I’m not a reality show fan at all but this has been a brilliant programme. How do you get Spotify I saw the music is on there? I’ve no clue 😜

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz the way I received it, it sounded like a surprise to them all, but yes, the way I read the article, they could express a desire to leave.

I suppose it's the difference between a headline that grabs your attention and then the content of the article.

In that case I think it might be Caroline, Clayton or Martin H. Hope not though as they're my favourites

I wondered if Sharon might leave if she feels she can't or doesn't want to progress with Elliott, yet feels under pressure to - not pressure from Elliott who is being understanding and supportive from what we've seen, but from being in the spotlight of the show and the group.

Me neither & much as i like Caroline, I'd be happy for her to leave too as there's no one there who is remotely interested in her. Put her out of her misery & a chance to find love in real life. Cant be good for her confidence.

Tolullah and Paul were on This Morning today with their daughters. I don't watch it but a pp mentioned it and I found the clip on YouTube:

I think Sharon needs to get out of there and this is a good opportunity for her to leave. Clayton is flogging a dead horse so needs to leave and get back to the real world.
