Very pleased to see Stan through- though he now plays Sascha and Grigor plays Sinner- so it might be the end of the road - but you never know. (If they win those, they play each other).
ADF is up first on Ashe- playing Tommy Paul, and probably the crowd- so I hope he keeps his head.

Mannrino/Tiafoe could be an interesting one- on a good day, Adrian plays very well. But Big Foe will definitely have the crowd on his side.
Everything crossed that Djere can pull off the match of his career and send Djok packing. Or maybe Djok will be struck down by the lurgy? <we can hope>

There was about year, where Stan and Grigor seemed to meet in the first round of every tournament- and at that point, Stan came out on top. They have a very close (7-6 to Stan) hth- so I do like seeing them play each other.

Getting past Sascha and Jannik could be tough- though I'm bit worried for Sinner, if any one is going to pick up a bug, he always looks like he will!

Sky are re-showing the Alcaraz match- Carlos wearing a shirt with sleeves- maybe it's too cold for the sleeveless one (he looks better in this shirt, actually).

Oh - just realised they are re showing last year's final- which is why he wi wearing last year's kit (I didn't even notice he was playing Casper!!).

I haven’t seen sleeveless Carlos ‘in the flesh’ yet - just in photos. I think he’s been getting a bit of stick for it but he probably doesn’t care! I really like the hoody he wears after his matches - it looks really cosy (but maybe not good for the NY heat)

Poor Casper - I bet he wishes he could get anywhere near a final again
