@MajesticWhine BBC sport is a bit odd in the way they show the schedules - they do it according to British time. So where an evening match in the US will be shown later than midnight over here, it’s shown under Tomorrow’s Order Of Play on BBC!

@ChessieFL exactly! I find it confusing. It looks now like the Shelton/ Djokovic match is scheduled right after Keys/Sabalenka.

I always go by the schedule on the US Open site, so as to avoid any confusion

I am still quite surprised that Djok is playing the afternoon match- in the sun- ( 3pm NYC/ 8pm ish UK time) - but I've no doubt at all the roof will be shut. But after Daniil looked half dead the other day, they had to give him half a chance of playing when it was slightly cooler .

I really felt for Madison - she had a huge chance, and I honestly thought the match was her's (I saw the start and part of the second before falling asleep again). I'm not a massive fan of Sabalenka, so I'm even more hopeful of a Coco win on Saturday now.

I think Djok and Shelton were always going to be the earlier match because they played their QF a day earlier. I’m sure Djok would have had the night match otherwise, he’s such a delicate flower. Not sure if I’m going to be watching tonight, it clashes with the rugby World Cup. But come on Ben!!

When I woke up this morning Keys was serving for the match and the next time I checked it was a third set tiebreak with Sabalenka in the lead!

That’s a tough loss for Keys - I wonder if the thought of getting to the final was just too much for her. Apparently Sabalenka forgot about the first to 10 rule in GS final set tiebreaks and thought she’d won when she got to 7

Don’t think I’ll be able to watch Djok against Ben later but will be score watching. I don’t really think that Ben will win but I’m hoping he’ll at least rattle Djok - Ben doesn’t look as if he’d be too intimidated by Djok but who knows (I’m sure the roof will be closed!)
