Speaking from absolutely zero experience here, I would have thought after a matinee, with only limited time to get yourself ready to go back on, you wouldn't really be up for much in the way of stage door antics. If I ever star in a West End play I'll come back and update this thread with my thoughts!

unlike Carrie, who merely stalked Nina Katz all over Manhattan because her rave review in the New York Times mentioned she treated men as disposable 🙄

I wonder where big stars stay when they are in theatre productions? It wouldnt be tge Savoy surely? Do they pay for themselves or is it part of the deal? I dont know why Im so concerned about SJP I even found myself wondering who’s looking after the twins and will she see them on three months 😂😂😂😂

Yes, Michiko Kakutani wrote the review but the review chimed in with the review Nina Katz's face was giving her in the same episode, so natch Carrie hunted down Nina Katz to explain some stuff Nina Katz rightly couldn't give a shit about.

Fabulous house rental, I reckon, complete with nannies if the kids are there (although I think they are quite old now!).

I want to know if SJP will be seen swanning around Kensington High Street in an impossible outfit, sky high heels and carrying many shopping bags.

Did anyone catch the V&A exhibition of her bags from SATC (and other fabulous bags) when it was on for the briefest of times in 2020? The exhibition was thwarted by Covid, but the lucky few may have got to see those beautiful Fendis. I'll be wearing my ancient but beautiful beaded Fendi when I go to see the play.

Another Berger fan here. I think they were such a great match, so much better than Aidan. He just needed to grow up a bit, so if they could meet again for S3 that would be perfect. Did anyone see him in Search Party, it’s on iplayer.

Also - the actress who played Aidan’s ex-wife Kathy is married to Berger in real life! (Apologies if everyone already knows this).

I think that actress also played Miranda's colleague, Fern, in the main series.

Someone mentioned them all getting proper jobs in S3 - I'd like to see this too. Still not sure what Carrie does, but fairly certain it's not enough to maintain her lifestyle - guess that's where Big's money comes in. Looking forward to seeing what Charlotte does with her job in the gallery and wondering if the old Miranda will be allowed to put in an appearance in S3. Looks like we'll have to wait until 2025 to find out though - hopefully that will give the script writers enough time to come up with some decent storylines.

I thought I read an article saying SJP had quit smoking and then was raging when they had Carrie start smoking again on AJLT as she was worried it would make her start smoking again!

Charlotte went to work in the gallery, Carrie is a writer, Miranda is a lawyer, seema is a real estate manager and LTW makes films. Of course Carrie lives off Big's money but she's always been a published writer.

Have to say, I don't count LTW or even Seema as main characters - they seem a bit peripheral and I'm not really invested in their stories. Again, fabulous lifestyles that I don't find believable - the amount of designer outfits for all the characters is OTT. I just don't know how they've supported this over the years: Charlotte has only just started working in the gallery - would like to see her take up the offer to run her own - and don't think Miranda is practicing any more: she dropped out of her masters to follow Che to California, and would imagine Steve's bar was badly impacted by COVID so not sure how she didn't work?

Maybe we watch it because the lifestyle is unattainable/fantasy, but I found it a bit wearing in S2, so unless they pull something out of the bag in S3 - and resurrect Miranda in particular to her former cynical pithy-commented self - I'm not sure I'll be watching

At one point Miranda went to be an intern at a Human Rights law NGO and ended up being the maternity cover for the Director. I actually found that very plausible as she had years of experience as a Partner in Big Law so was used to managing a team and clients, and she’d obviously learned all the new legal stuff. However I completely forgot that maternity leave in the States is so insanely short, so I was shocked when her boss popped up again about 2 episodes later to come back to work! Can’t remember now if they left it that she still had a role there.

She is still working there. Didn't she go off to a conference at the UN or something in one of the last episodes, and meet a potential new love interest (in the form of actor Dolly Wells).

Ah yes, she did a BBC TV interview about the case and Dolly was the producer I think.

Also fabulous news on no Che in season 3. Although the character did make it an enjoyable hate watch.

I preferred Che when she was just Carrie’s friend who worked for the vet ie I didn’t dislike her so much towards the end of S2 when her scenes with Miranda came to an end.

There were some funny scenes in the vet, I do think that Sara does comedy well.

It’s hard to see where the character could go from there though. I think Sara is too big an actor to just play an incidental character but no one wants tedious issue-driven Che back, it just wouldn’t appeal. So this decision is for the best. Whether Sara’s stance on the conflict is relevant, who knows.

I’d like more Steve and Harry next season. And lots of the wonderful Seema.
