I’m only halfway through the first episode but I’m absolutely engrossed.

Anyone else watching? Thought it was interesting the Mollie Mae and Tommy didn’t reveal their pregnancy to Tyson and Paris until she was nearly 6 months gone. They can’t be remotely close despite what they’re trying to portray.

Tyson seems to be a bit of bellend and Paris appears to put up with a lot. His bipolar is blamed for a lot but I think he’s just badly behaved and entitled. The kids are feral 😳 although Venezuela seems to be more mature than her dad.

Love how having a diagnosis seems to give Tyson the green light to act like toddler trantraming bell end.
Clearly non any meds and everyone just panders to him because he is 'Tyson Fury'.
Paris is a total saint.

I've watched a couple of them, not sure I'll continue as they are pretty boring to watch. It seems to be random dull activity with them all driving in cars somewhere intercut with Tyson excusing his behaviour because of his mental health and then Paris describing how she has to pander to him because of his mental health.

I like Tommy Fury, I watched him in Love Island. He isn't the brightest but he seems a very decent person.

JamSandle · 19/08/2023 08:08

I really like Paris but I think she has martyred herself for her family. I hope she is okay and does have support. Tyson isn't nice to her and she is literally the backbone for their family and his career.

peanutcrumble · 19/08/2023 08:37

@catskittens she doesn't have a cleaner or nanny. Only a lady that does her ironing which a lot of traveller woman do. Most traveller women don't know how much money they have either it's a cultural thing.

It’s hard to explain, it’s the cadence of his speech. The only thing I can liken it to is people who I have met with a mild brain injury, which wouldn’t be surprising given his profession.

His son does it as well. As does John to a lesser extent. Paris also does it very very slightly. I thought it could be a brain injury (until I saw and noticed the others doing it). But it must be some strange family mannerism.
Either way he's a prick and she's a saint for staying. The older girl is a clever lass. What a shame she's only seen as housewife material.

Jbrown76 · 19/08/2023 14:13

She does have a nanny and a cleaner and all sorts of hired help...

Jbrown76 · 19/08/2023 14:14

There's a thread on tat.tle.life detailing everything

Dont believe for s second that Tyson has bipolar disorder.

Its much more likely he has borderline personality disorder .

Really, how so? I have borderline personality disorder and didn't empathise with him in the slightest, though I know each case is different...

Parsley1234 · 19/08/2023 14:41

@Jbrown76 what does it say about it please

RosaBaby2 · 19/08/2023 15:14

It feels so fake, a lot of cut and paste bits together to create drama too. Load of crap!

Titicacacandle · 19/08/2023 18:04

I watched the first episode and came straight on to MN to see if there was a thread about it.

Poor Paris! She takes a LOT and he's just like, well you take your bad moods out on the person that's closest to you and that's that. Prick!

I didn't think the dc were that feral, they're obviously loved, they're just not middleclass dc.

Tortiemiaw · 19/08/2023 19:04

Got to say, even though he seems like a bit of a knob and she is clearly putting up with absolute bedlam and god knows what else from him; I've just watched the proposal episode and feel quite weepy!

Donjib · 19/08/2023 19:21

I googled why they all have cold sores and ended up here🤷‍♀️ 🤣

I'm enjoying it so far

It's just their life and how they deal with it.

They have a strong connection and plenty of space and DC to keep them busy

Hopefully the daughters are able to realise any dreams they have. I haven't watched enough to see that they're expected to be housewives

Cas112 · 19/08/2023 19:56

Tyson is a prick to paris

HappiDaze · 19/08/2023 20:00

Ive only watched the first half hour of the first episode so far so I'm watching his behaviour with eagle eyes

HappiDaze · 19/08/2023 20:02

Ah yes and a minute later yes he's a complete sulky prick.

He'll get worse now he's retired

HappiDaze · 19/08/2023 20:04

At least he takes himself away from a situation he feels stressed about

Agree.
Seeing Tyson's own father in previous footage he came across as grandiose and v unstable. Tyson appears to have major attachment issues & a personality disorder possibly resulting from his own upbringing.

Gothambutnotahamster · 19/08/2023 20:22

Id love to know more about his upbringing as I don't know much - where is his mum? I assume Tommy is his half brother as Paris mentions older brothers that he's very close to in her book but no mention of Tommy at all and they look so different with such a big age gap that i assume they have different mums.
