I don’t like agreeing with Djokovic but he’s now saying that play should start earlier on Centre and No 1 courts, at 12pm.

I think he’s right but I think he also suffers a bit from the scheduling - I think apart from his first match his others have all been at the end of the day, presumably to maximise TV viewer numbers, so he might be more affected than some others by the late start. For example I think Iga’s matches have all been either first or second on. Shouldn’t be too much of a problem from now on though as there’s fewer matches.

I agree that they should start earlier on the show courts Chessie especially in the first week when there are so many matches. Realistically play doesn’t start until about 2pm by the time they’ve warmed up and faffed about

Djok does seem to have been the one who has had to play late/come back the next day although Stef had some bad scheduling and also seemed to be playing everyday

I guess Wimbledon have to weigh up the needs of the fans, TV, corporate people and the players but now that Djok has spoken the start probably will be brought forward next year. It’s not as bad as the us open with its 3am or whatever finishes though!

I’ve seen a video of Casper vibing at The Weekend concert - he looks like he’s having a great time and is apparently a big fan! (I thought they were a group but they are apparently just one person )

fizzy I’d love to be able to back Andrey against Djok but I fear he’ll put up less of a challenge than Hubi. If Jesus really is on his side now would be a good time to come through….

My brain is preoccupied with wondering who can beat Djok going by previous results. Daniil and Holger seem to be the best bets.

They’re all capable of beating Djok but whether they will - who knows. I’m hoping Carlos can do the job if they do both end up in the final.

I just turned on to watch Goran and Martina in the invitation mixed doubles but it’s not on and the Wimbledon app says walkover. Anyone know what happened? That would have been a good match!
