Clair & Cotter ans a couple of other people say Alcarath everyone else says Alcaraz

Until recently everyone just said Alcaraz. Now the BBC presenters have suddenly decided it’s Alcarath. The umpire is still saying Alcaraz though.

I think Spanish people do say Alcarath, but it just sounds pretentious when English speakers do it. It’s like they over emphasise the lisp bit.

That's my feeling, really. It's fine if a native speaker does it, but sounds silly from others - especially when they don't do it with any of the other Spanish players.
