It has just starting raining really heavily here. I got a message from dd2- it's sports day at school, they had to go in p.e kit. It started just as the rain did. She is freezing.

She's not even involved in any events, she is just spectating. I really don't see the point. . (She was desperately hoping for a stoma bag emergency- but I said that would be too obvious ).

I saw Borna attending a chess tournament post Wimbledon

I think DD1 only ever had to do 1 sports in secondary- I can't remember Ds ever doing any- though he did go to an athletics meeting (he really isn't sporty, not sure why he was picked).
In fact, Ds used to do extra maths to get out of P.E.

I think Dd would do that if she could (and she HATES maths ).

I'm thinking that now Pat has said he's friendly with Djok's stat guy he will have to avoid AC

Is it actually raining at Wimbledon? I was in a work meeting, just turned back to it to see the roof closing but it doesn’t actually look like it’s raining there. Is it just a precaution?

Iga looks a bit less stressed after that wee break. Hopefully she is back on top of things and can make this a good match.
