Just watched the first two episodes on Apple TV+. thought it was really good, anyone else? Can't wait for next one!

Im confused about how they made money from a hijacked plane when share prices fell!!

@LittleMrsPretty the hijackers had short sold the stock. If the company was about to face a reputational crisis (like a plane crash for unknown reasons), the stock would fall.

I loved it all. Thrilling, yes unbelievable in places, but Game of Thrones isn’t real either. I watch telly to escape reality and for entertainment, not to pull apart the programme. It wasn’t a reconstruction of an actual event 😂

I tell you the bit I did like - the fire alarm thing with Max Beesley, that was the most believable (and surprising he didn’t eff it up) plot line!!

I did like it though, plot holes and all- it kept me gripped! I’m still ultimately confused as to who was behind it and why and what will happen next, but 🤷‍♀️

Plane had no landing gear and practically no arse left on it but the overhead lockers remained closed and the steps for a commercial plane at a military field still lined up.

Still enjoyed it!

I think the 2 criminals released were also using the hijack to create a vast wealth by speculating on the share price of the airline they had hijacked.

Or summat.

It was like a John Grisham novel where he creates multiple risk scenarios which some how work out, but written by a 12 year old.

So many holes, when the air traffic controller was told to hand over to the RAF and refused, life is not like that. You need a bit of belief suspension, but there were loads of bits like that.

I think it need a post landing episode or at least half an episode to wrap it up completely. So many unanswered questions

We watched that after Hijack. It was really good. I believe a second series is on its way.

@Gilmorehill They have done two seasons, and numbers three and four are being recorded. You can watch the first two seasons on Apple TV at the moment. Glad you enjoyed it, I personally think season 2 is even better than the first.

Finished season 1 of Slow Horses last night, starting 2 tonight- loving it!

Is series 2 out?! I must be late to the party! It’s a great show. KST and GO really shine in it but the overall cast is very strong.

I enjoyed it but the Idris Elba character seemed a bit of a liability, he was trying to be too clever 😂

It was dreadful. But actually cannot wait for Season 2!

None if the many plot holes got in the way of a fun adventure. There’s still lots to resolve though.

bloody loved it! daft - yes, but i don’t care! (only real criticism is the very end but with Idris and the lead hijacker on the plane - it jumped the shark slightly then). but 7 hours of bingeable hi-octane glossy silliness absolutely gets the thumbs up from me.

Just finished this. It was hysterically awful but I couldn’t stop watching. Gliding a huge jet over London! Using steps at the end and not the slide thing.
i live in London and I can see planes from my living room window while I’m watching tv. Hope none of them were gliding 😂
