Just watched the first two episodes on Apple TV+. thought it was really good, anyone else? Can't wait for next one!

Really enjoying it but my god the incompetence of the British security services response is so irritating I spend a lot of time shouting at the screen! The amateurish tailing of the car using three obvious police vehicles all in a line, the drone that apparently has no heat detecting cameras able to see through foliage, it apparently not even once crossing their minds that the guy they were trailing might have left the vehicle while it was hidden from view - aaaaaargh!

Then there are incompetent hitmen who can’t check a house properly to make sure no one is hiding from them….

Cant wait until next week though!

While we wait for the final episode on Wednesday, can I recommend you all watch Slow Horses. Absolutely brilliant, not quite as tense as Hijack but still a really good drama with lots of double bluffs and secrets. Think James Bond but with spys who are a bit rubbish!

Sooo.... shall we all make predictions about how it's gonna end?

Here's mine. I think Holly Aird's character is being forced into flying the plane by someone in her family being held hostage/threat to kill. So, the ground teams will find this out, rescue the person, who will then speak to her and she will stop crashing the plane within the last few seconds.

I can't see how else they could stop her crashing it. I also don't think the hijackers have a realistic chance of getting out of this alive.

Anyone else got any ideas?

I can't believe you all like this show, it's utter garbage. Worst thing I've wasted time watching. So unbelievable. Dire acting. Unlikeable characters.

Slow Horses on the other hand is fabulous.

@JamieandRoybromance i’m not so sure. Holly Aird was giving off gangster vibes rather than compliance I thought? She shot the pilot with zero hesitation which ruled her out as the sky Marshall (but not his wife I guess 😂).

What I like about this series (especially after last week’s ep) is the fact it is genuinely hard to predict what might happen.

I think the pilot bashing his female co pilot over the head with a metal water bottle to admit terrorists to his cockpit who were waving guns around that they had somehow smuggled onto a plane just tipped me over the edge.

Well I’ve watched the last episode and can confirm it was so bad it was almost good. So many plot holes and total inaccuracies and they clearly forgot to speak to anyone in aviation but why let that get in the way of a dramatic moment.

I thought the gliding bit was more realistic compared to some of the other bits

There was loads of crazy bits, but I really enjoyed it.

It started so promisingly but by the end I barely cared.

That was quite bad, really enjoyed the first 6 episodes but this final one was rubbish.

Well that's the Royal tarmac at Northolt fooked then innit....I thought Stansted was the place to dump all random flights 😂

I mean it wasn't bad, like a lot of programmes now belief suspension is a good idea because otherwise you will pull it apart. I'm still not keen on Idris to be honest, I never got what the fuss was about.

Totally unbelievable ending, they would never allow a hijacked plane anywhere near London..also, after the crash landing they wheeled over the steps to let the passengers off! No rush then...good first few episodes bit went a bit daft..
