it probably wouldnt work for this show but would be really interesting to have another aspect explaining costs and expectations and the realities of it all

Sarah Beeney was always very good at this years ago explaining to people that the would have made as much if they had done nothing as it was a rising market

As a builder I deal with this a lot but so many clients have a poor grasp of this which is not helped by some property programs that sell the dream

I'm always amazed at the outset what the house owners expect to achieve for their budget.
It certainly would not be achievable where I live.
It would be way off the reality.
So not surprised that they go overbudget.

Watching Tuesdays now. I think Lynsey’s design is better.

Finally watched it. Hilarious but I was saying mostly the same as you lot when came to Damion’s design. Dh loved it. Especially the pivot door & loft space being lost. Idiot

The female architects are way better than the men, they are just more practical & get how spaces should work.

Think that is why I dislike what we’ve mainly done here - male architect. Never again. I was unwell at the time so let him & dh run it. Big mistake. Huge. 😭🤣
