Are there researchers who help them prepare for the commentaries or do they have to rely on they're own tennis general knowledge. Which whilst probably very good isn't faultless

I think they do their own @ShakeYourFeathers and sometimes the producers help them out but their knowledge is very variable!

I’m not sure Shake but I think I know more than AC just by following the tour all year round and being on this thread

I’ve just read Sue Barker’s autobiography and she did all her own homework/ research but not sure if that’s the case for all of them -as Raahh has already said AC just repeats the same things every time!

I feel like Sue Barker is in a different league to AC in terms of preparation. And was thinking exactly that, that some of the people on this thread have more in depth knowledge

I didn't recognise Liam without his beard

Sue Barker was definitely a professional Shake - big shoes to fill. Clare does seem to have calmed down a bit so that’s good

Haven't paid as much attention during the clay season, maybe the colour of the dirt detracts from the tan?

(Plus Holger was wearing a clay coloured kit!).
