Anyone else watching this new Catherine Tate show? There are 6 episodes of 30 mins each and it shows on BBC at 9.30pm on Fridays.

I've already watched the first 3 episodes on iplayer!

I keep seeing an advert for this where Catherine's character is impersonating the PM and it is the least funny thing I have ever seen. And I watch some absolute shite.

Complete tripe, I couldn't get past the first episode. I'm guessing this was a "This will pay off my mortgage" job for CT.

Awful, but I’m no CT fan. Trailer is dreadful and 5 mins of the show sealed the deal. She must have some dirt on someone at the beeb.

You must have seriously low standards or a brain injury.

There's nothing to be quick for. There's no undercurrent of funny to be missed. No funny to be found whatsoever. Nada. Zero.

I watched two episodes, and didn't think they were quire as bad as the trailer. Fell asleep during last night's offering, and have no particular plans to catch up.

Just watches the first one. The bits at the start were the funniest part when the people all say things about her.

King Gary is way better than this. Unbelievably funny with clever casting and actors

I warmed to it. Really like the supporting cast and as you start to see how awful her family are, you get on her side. Last 2 episodes were funny and quite shocking in one place. Didn’t like all her lines and a bit more subtlety in some places would have made it better.

Tried to watch the first episode- one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. The sort of thing young teens might do if they are doing role play in a drama lesson and one of them is a show-off who thinks she’s a good actress. Catherine Tate isn’t as funny as she thinks she is and appears to have written a show in which her unpleasant character is the centre of every scene and everyone else just stands around watching her. We needed to see the other characters have their own storylines. And it just looked so cheap and basic. Did CT just want to go to Oz? Very embarrassing for the other actors involved.

The programme is called Queen of Oz, of course it's going to be about the main character!

Anyway, there are scenes without her. Mostly with the other characters complaining bitterly about her 😂

I enjoyed it. If you've only seen the trailer or part of the first episode, you're missing out.

I'm a big fan of Catherine Tate, her comic relieft as Lauren when David Tennant is the supply teacher is pure genius
