Nina has been reduced to a series of not very funny comedic asides for no obvious reason. The Seb storyline showed Mollie Gallagher can handle strong material - so why have they essentially turned her into a highly paid extra?

I think Nina is the most annoying character on the street. Something about her inflection winds me up, snooty and like everyone is beneath her. And the way she is with Roy, so condescending and borderline controlling.

Elaine is a close second. She’s unbearable and they’ve only made her worse. I hope she gets with Tai Chi Tim 2.0 and buggers off to an indefinite retreat.

I’m disappointed they haven’t followed up on Asha’s plan to become a paramedic. It would really suit her.

Just to add to the irritating characters list I cringe when watching Steve MacDonald in almost every scene he's in. He's had one serious storyline recently with Tracey's rape situation but other than that the writers insist on making him the street buffoon. He's been in Corrie for decades and whatever generous salary his contract affords him he'll be obliged to carry out the lines he's given. He's not the only one of course so it really is down to the writers who must be pissed when they create some of the scripts.

(I just KNEW he was going to fart in that Tai Chi scene 😕)
