For me, the worst hairstyle decision was in the early 1990s or thereabouts, when Emily cut her beautiful swishy auburn hair into that awful helmet.

Deirdre a close second. She had lovely long thick hair.

To be fair. Deirdre lost her hair to chemo in real life.

Oh no, did she? Poor Anne. I thought she’d got the curly perm by choice.

The perm was her real hair. When Deirdre came back from looking after Blanche (and Anne Kirkbride came back from leave post-chemotherapy) with short hair, that was a wig. The very short haircut she has just before her wedding to Samir was when she started showing her real hair on camera again.

Just tuned in today I know these eps are from 2003 (cant believe its been 20 years since 2003) but does anyone know what month this is

I think they have just entered June. (I think they just had bank end of May bank holiday Monday.)

Just realised Amy (Tracy Barlow/Preston's daughter) was born February 2004. So Tracy is already pregnant with her in the episodes of Classic Corrie we are seeing, where she is dating her grandmother's boyfriend (Wally!)

One of the stark differences I find between modern and Classic Corrie is the length of the dialogue between characters, classic has proper conversations in modern Corrie it’s kept to a minimum, it lacks depth as well.

But Tracy has Amy in February 2004. (So she would have conceived Amy in May 2003.) It's now early June 2003, so she is around one month pregnant. I don't think we discover she has slept with Steve until she is waaaay into the pregnancy - possibly even after Amy's birth.

I won't spoil it for people who don't know/can't remember, but Tracy accuses another man (quite a big character in Corrie,) of being Amy's father, for quite some time, before admitting it's Steve McDonald.

I am enjoying the Dev and Sunita roles right now.

Tracey and Steve have a ONS in an episode coming up in the next week or so, end of June 2003 in Corrie Land. Corrie have never bothered much with exact timings and Tracey would only have been just over 7 months when Amy was born.

Tracey has always loved Steve! 😂

And today's episode is dedicated to the surgeon who showed amazing needlework skills when performing Tracy Barlow's kidney transplant. Couldn't see a hint of a scar on her body when she was swimming in her blue sparkly bikini 😉

2003-2004: Pregnancy. Returning to live at No. 1, Tracy had a one-night stand with Steve McDonald in June 2003 and wanted to take things further but Steve reconciled with his wife Karen instead.

Amy WAS born in Feb 2004, but as you said Corrie is not the most perfect at timelines and dates, and she could have had her at 8 months.

Did anybody notice in the allotment Tyrone said he had been squatting with his mum, but in modern corrie he didn't know his mum was alive?

Also Joe's face is really annoying me. His mouth looks like it's been sucked by a hoover tube.

I think he meant his 'jackie' mum. The one that found him abandoned and claimed to be his mother
