I have to say, I am absolutely fooking SICK TO DEATH of Karl and Todd. Their 'will they won't they,' on-again-off-again shenanigans, where Karl throws a strop and gets maudlin, and tells Todd he wubz him, then goes off and shags another man. Then Todd throws a tantrum and sulks like a toddler because he's fallen out with Karl, then he tells Sarah he wubz her and Beffonneh... Then poor old Sarah wonders what the fluff she's done wrong when he has a face like a smacked arse 5 minutes later.

I wish this storyline would die a death. It's dragged on too long now! It seems to have gone on for ages on Classic Corrie, which is on 10 times a week. Imagine how it must have dragged when it was only on half as much when it was first broadcast?!

Also, poor Fred. He is such a kind and loving man, and deserves much better. But LOL at the guy conning Fred going on about the 'world wide web' and how exciting it is, and how you can now transfer money in SECONDS. I guess it was all new then!

I think Todd and Karl saga wraps up soonish? Thank God.

The Karl, Todd and Sarah story has a tragic outcome.

It does have a very very sad outcome. Does it also give us the first of the Gail and Eileen cat fights? Dynasty had Lilly ponds and bouffants…Corrie had cobbles and hairnets.

Didn't emmerdale do one at the same time. Pollard had a Thai bride. I think they actually fell in love.

This Fred storyline is hilarious. He deserves to be scammed out of that money for being a dirty old man thinking he can buy a pretty young wife.

Getting sick of the Sally & Rosie storyline, when does it end? Can't stand Sally these days, she's insufferable.

If I remember rightly, the Sally/Rawsie storyline drags on for a while yet. Sally takes on a new job to pay for school fees, and "gets on very well" with her new boss.

What were the writers thinking of with the Cilla character. She's vile. She has no redeeming features. Even the faces she pulls talking are awful

I don’t like the Fred storyline, it’s quite horrible. He doesn’t deserve that

I've always found that unlikely & unrealistic. She did nothing to redeem herself before she was written out. I dont believe Fizz would help her in anyway

I don’t buy Fizz forgiving Cilla either. Just watching the contretemps in the Salon! How embarrassing for Tim’s wife, going in and screaming at poor Candice! Good for Maria and Audrey sticking up for her. As much as I love Fred he’s being a silly sausage over the lovely “our kid”.

I love Fred, I say I love Fred but I don’t have a lot of sympathy for his situation. You can’t just buy a (supposedly) desperate woman FFS. The way he put his arms around her after she got that call was so creepy.

Betty has got his number. She keeps looking at him in disgust and telling him you can’t buy a woman.

I think Cilla must return at some point, as I'm sure she was known as Cilla Battersby-Brown. Does that mean she comes back and marries Les?

I seem to remember her being in Corrie much longer than this, but of course with the episodes being compressed, what seems like a short time now, would probably have been going on for months back in the day.

I like Betty too. And Vera. Vera is one of my favourites actually. I knew quite a few women like her growing up.
