I see Kato won her mixed match against her also disqualified women's doubles partner.

Marie Bouzkova and Sara Sorribes Tormo got a lot of abuse for their part in getting the other pair disqualified and Vasek Pospisil said Kato's loss of prize money and points was theft!

Jane I hate to be the bearer of rubbish news (because it has really annoyed me) but the red button service for Wimbledon has been axed apparently. They are only using one extra red button channel (instead of the previous 6) and the extra matches will now be shown via iplayer. I can get iplayer, but I find it really hit and miss and not nearly as easy to move between as the red button channels.

I am extremely angry on your behalf, Jane. It will affect a lot of people, and like so many things like this, it's not something that people who will be affected will notice- until they realise it's not there. Like you, there will be viewers who use the red buttton once a year and then forget the channels are there. I rarely read the BBC website and I can't even remember why I came across the article.

The other thing I read was there is a new bloke doing TAW, (Qasa Alom - apparently he's got a dog named after Rafa, so maybe he will be ok )now that Clare is doing the main show. (Isa is still doing the day bits as well- I hope she's better than last year).

And - because last year they had a lot of disruption and matches went on for ages and programmes were cancelled (erm- hasn't that been happening for ever?) they are keeping the main stuff to BBC1 without flipping channels- til about 9 ish. So no more 'Voice of Doom'. It was literally Sue's main job!

Oh no that’s rubbish Jane - hope you manage to find a way to watch Wimbledon - I would definitely complain to the BBC - that will affect a lot of people (including my DM - she will probably blame me!)

I can get the iplayer but it’s not very user friendly - I can never seem to find what I want (maybe that’s just me!)

Well done to Andy - might try and watch some today - wish that I’d tried a bit harder to get tickets but it all seemed a bit too complicated! (It wasn’t really but I could only have gone at the weekend and then the tickets were sold out!)

I will miss Sue’s voice of doom Raahh - I’m still not convinced about Clare Balding - hope that Isa has brushed up on the basic rules of tennis this time! Not long now …

Tbh, I just pressed the red button on my TV dobber and Nottingham appeared, so I don't know if I was watching on red button or iplayer Another technophobe here
All I know is that I couldn't get it to return to normal tv at the end of the tennis. Even DH struggled

It’s not that long ago that the little old man was still carrying the strapping tennis players bags for them - they probably stopped when Rafa brought out his going on holiday for a month bags!

The Gods of Tennis programmes have been really good- and although I've seen all the footage numerous times before, it never gets old. It's always really great to see the fashions- like the women's tennis dresses.

The poor bloke carrying all the bags used to be as much a part of Wimbedon as the players. The players have so many racquets now , he would need a partner! or a donkey.

I managed to tune in my one remaining red button so that's something at least but will they actually put anything on there now? I think I could only get one RB last year as well but there used to be six before. I think Eurosport have some Wimbledon but I'm sure they just showed whatever the BBC was showing at the same time last year which is pretty pointless.

I hope that cricket woman won't be around. She is clueless about tennis didn't have the charm of Alize to get away with all the blunders she made.

There was a massive long list of other commentators and pundits - it's a wonder they can afford them all.

I don't think I saw much of Isa. I certainly can't remember her.

Try looking at iplayer on your laptop or desktop - much easier to figure it out that way.
