The conversations just don't flow like they did in SATC. It's all too forced and trying to shoehorn in too much information and PCness on each scene.
I so wanted to love this, I'm going to persevere through this season too but it's like eating a meal you aren't enjoying and finishing it anyway. A waste of calories and you feel a bit crap afterwards.

Is it about to appear on Now? I couldn’t watch live so hopefully now it’s finished broadcasting it’ll pop up?

I decided to watch the first ep of Kim Cattrall's new show first as an act of solidarity. KC seemed very muted, but I am hoping this is because her character has lost her old fire and will, through the annoyingly sassy antics of her staff, get it back as the series goes on. I don't think either show is going to be troubling the award season.

AJLT did bring me one gift - hating Miranda more than Che. Whilst Che was pretty annoying, Miranda was off the scale. And WTF was with Miranda's full frontal? Why would we need to see that? If I were Che, I'd be sending Miranda back to New York.

The Lily dress storyline made no sense, you'd just get Harry's firm to deal with it. And Lily's Sad Song About All Her Privilege suggests she needs a firm kick up the arse and to be sent to do some volunteer work somewhere.

What on earth is going on with Nya? Can they really not think of anything better for her to do? LTW seems to be getting the most interesting storylines, but even then it comes across like 'racism storyline written by a rich white guy'.

I see no-one even thought to go with the 'vaginal deodorant is a feminist issue' angle.

He was also Tony from Prada in SATC.. but they seem to have glossed over that!

I watched the 8am version from sky.

I sort of enjoyed it. Harry seems thinner. Glad no Steve being pathetic.

Anthony dumped by Carrie for her NBF was so wrong. It was set three weeks on from where we left it last season, yet all the friendships are deep and established. Stand-alone stories for Che and others, original friendship legacy is cast aside. Meantime, Miranda was some sort of pseudo Samantha, with a superfluous scene in a pod which had no purpose but to enable the actress to be naked on screen? Then a strap on scene which was just ick, more than dick.

At least they paid homage to Carrie 1.0 when she sat at the desk on her laptop to write the advert.

I feel the same as I did when I watched the second movie at the cinema 😬😞

Agreed, it would have been nice to see more about all the dresses, and given they were all having dresses designed for them, see some of the 'behind the scenes' of the couture fashion world.
