Late to this… persevered through it but god, it’s awful. Miranda is sooo annoying. All the woke stuff is just so trite.

I am kind of interested in Carrie’s storyline so will watch to the end but I’m not sure why!

Just watched episode one. I am hate watching I’m afraid! I don’t even like the fashion, although it was definitely ridiculous eye-catching in this episode! In SATC, I loved the relationships between the characters and the amazing script which ranged from laugh out loud funny to full of pathos. All this is totally lacking in AJLT. In fact, I would go as far as to say this episode was pretty boring! I got my phone out partway through, which was unheard of for new SATC episodes, and even series one AJLT. At least that was hilariously dire! This was just dull.

Particular low points: the opening scene full of filler-faced women launching themselves at their respective partners for a fuck fest. Their ‘come hither’ faces were verging on demonic! Also Miranda in a strap-on harness will haunt me at night. Stanny being mentioned as in Japan when we all know he’s dead. It’s insulting frankly.

Semi-high points: Seema is still a good character, and at least we didn’t have to witness an octogenarian parody of Steve shambling around the screen! More Anthony please, and can we inject a bit more actual funny humour in to the script? Or we’ll all be knock knock knocking on sad gal door (and nobody likes a sad gal).

Just watched ep 1&2 of season 2. The dialogue is so awkward, none of the characters speak in an ‘organic’ way. I did like some of the fashions but I am also definitely hate watching now. I am intrigued to follow Carrie’s journey. But the rest is making me cringe.

I can totally see Miranda having a midlife ‘awakening’ and going off with someone else but Che is just the worst.

Watched most of episode one like this 😱 with the odd laugh out loud and the odd swoon at the clothes, Carrie's final outfit especially. Always adored that dress

Two episodes done. Oh dear god, its such pointless, meaningless, badly written trash. And not remotely in a good way. Che is still just AWFUL and Charlotte's two daughters are heading the same way. There were one or two flashes of the old Miranda in episode two but that's just not enough

I'm just finishing the second episode and I'm pretty much hate watching it too. I miss the old sparkle that SATC had. There's no fun in watching this...Samantha is missed more than ever! There's far too much of Miranda and Che, and they actually make me queasy - Miranda is so needy.

The whole woke speak is very forced. The dialogue doesn't flow as every word has been examined, and probably changed over and over.

Hate watching continues. It’s pretty dire. Miranda is awful and I cannot bear Che. I think they should probably have left it alone and not brought it back to be honest.

Why is Miranda basically servicing Che and not realising?

Liked the red thing on head thingy but spent most of that episode wanting to give the youngest daughter of that family a hug.

Che is so self obsessed. Miranda has had a complete personality change. Previously she was so level and had a career and now she’s just simpering around after Che. You had hoped by now they’d all be a bit more self assured and give less of a shit.

God I can't stand it. What the hell happened to this show?? Didn't particularly enjoy season one but Christ this is unwatchable. Couldn't care less about a single one of the characters. Charlotte is a ridiculous joke of a character. Harry is a nothing. Carrie.. cold and humourless. Don't even get me started on Miranda. It's a load of superficial disjointed meaningless drivel. I don't even find enjoyment in the costumes because I'm too busy fuming at the complete emptiness of it all. It's flat, dull and stupid. I'm furious!!

I watched both episodes earlier, and is it just me or was Carrie doing a weird babyish voice for part of that first episode? She sounded fine at other times so I don't know if she had maybe just been ill but it was odd.

I also didn't expect to see quite so much of Miranda throughout with the nude scenes and I swear if she posted on MN about the relationship with Che all the replies would be "LTB".

I can't decide if I love or hate the pigeon bag. The way Carrie was holding it at first it just looked like she was stroking a real pigeon which was odd but then when she was just waving it around I quite liked it then.

How are people managing to watch? It’s not showing in my now tv?
