I'm working my way through MAFS New Zealing at the moment. It's completely different. Relatively normal people with no lip-fillers in sight. Only six couples and clearly a much smaller budget. Interesting contrast, I thought.

I think Duncan would have made an effort to speak to Alyssa after the dinner party or the next morning.

She was a completely different person compared to the dinner party Chucky

Aw I'm pleased for Evelyn & Duncan, think they make a great couple- both seem fun-loving, smart, chill, emotionally intelligent and articulate people with strong morals and principles- not sure how the experts missed that match.

What’s behind that? The producers probably. I saw an article this morning in which Ollie and Tahnee said Alyssa had been portrayed very different from what she was really like and they felt awful that she was a hate figure.

As for that after party! They should have just filmed that. Everyone was swapping partners by the sound of it! Jesse and Janelle had a kiss too!

My cynical side says she hooked up with him when she saw how much positive attention he had got from show followers. She’s a pro reality tv girl, already done Big Brother. She knows being with him will continue to get her attention now the show has finished.

I think it's perfectly possible to be all of the above: a nice person, pro TV sleb, and intelligent and witty. She absolutely called out the nasty folk when no one else did and saw right through them.

No idea if she and Duncan will be well suited,but perhaps they might be.

Just listened to SoDramati c podcast and apparently Harrison told Duncan to ditch Alyssa, saying why is he settling for a 35 year old single mum, when he's going to have 21year olds messaging him once he's left the show! 😨😧

Wouldn’t surprise me if Harrison had said something of the sort. Doubt Duncan would listen to a word if it though.

somewhere else, I read that Duncan and Harrison are real life friends and were before this series

Just realised we didn’t get the chance to see the group react to Tayla telling Hugo to sleep on the window sill on their honeymoon. Would have loved to hear what they had to say about that

Ollie and Tahnee only saw the Alyssa she presented to the group though, when she did come across as reasonable and likeable. They weren't experiencing what Duncan was, behind closed doors.
