Sex and the City Mr Big

I watched this on and off years ago and am now watching it right through from the start. I used to root for Carrie and Big but Oh my, I think he's just awful. Vacuous, trading in his money and looks, never says anything interesting and nice, just snidey.
Is that the common view?
( I know I'm decades late to the party! )

He was, but he was hot.
I think Aiden was worse, too needy. Carrie wasn't that great either.
I never really thought Big and Carrie made a great couple.
Loved that show 😁

I always detested him, never fancied him, and thought Carrie was a complete mug in letting herself get walked over, time and time again, by him. But then nobody in their right mind would put up with her!

Alexzander was just selfish.

Berger. Ugh.

still an entertaining show though. I always liked Steve and Harry. They seemed like normal decent guys. People aren’t without flaws in relationships.

Aiden was dreadful, Petrovsky was even worse. Berger was the best of the bunch, and he was terrible.

Do,you remember when ‘the Russian’ as he was referred to got precious and ‘artistey’ when the giggling idiots h;f cut on mimosas paid him a surprise visit To his ‘loft’ (where else ? - complete with clanging old elevator)to see he ridiculous ‘light installation’ what a load of old bollocks that series was, awful then even worse now

Big was better than dreadful aiden, he was not in the slightest bit attractive. Big at least had charisma and knew who he was. Only good boyfriend Carrie had was high school one played by David Duchovny (but then he was sectioned I think)

🤣🤣🤣🤣I’ve just remembered ‘the scrunchie’ but you have to shriek ‘scrunchie’ cannot just say it
and when I think it was Berger was “WTAF” when she was testing a server about allergens or something
i used to watch the odd one but hated it, but hated myself more for,watching it and it made me irrationally annoyed

The best men were Smith, Big, Aiden, Richard. The doctor Miranda dates in S6 was quite hot.

Burger awful, Harry nice but not fanciable (and immovable on the religion).

Steve was lovely but the wettest weekend ever "I held your head while you were sleeping" Shudder. Give me Big any day!

Of the one-offs it has got to be "Mr Too-Big". I'd take a whack at it!

I liked Aidan! 🙋🏻‍♀️He put up with a lot of Carrie’s shit, I mean expecting Aidan to accept that Big was part of her life after she slept with Big whilst with Aidan! Also he can make lovely furniture and fix things, love a man who is good with his hands!

If you're waiting for it to come on Netflix you'll be waiting forever - it's made by HBO and they don't distribute any of their programmes through Netflix 😄 The only way you'll see it on demand (if you're in the UK) is through NOW TV.

Personally I think PP's tip about getting the complete box set for about 10p on ebay is spot on. And hilarious 😁
