I sadly had a real life happening of that with a school mum that I happily chatted to daily and organised parties with (kids same birthday). It was only at her funeral that we learned of her amazing pre-kids international career that had ended with kids and she had a B&B instead.

The carpool episode when Julia picks up the death mask of Anne’s dead dad and has to put the sunglasses on and stick her face into it to replace him. 😂

Mrs Lamb referring to everyone as “Ivy’s mum”, “Jade’s mum” etc. So accurate.

Also... when they all say Hygge Tygge is slightly different ways. Emphasises how pretentious it is. Huger Tuger... higgy tiggy.. cracks me up every time.

The Minecraft/Mein Kraft joke works without subtitles because of how Kevin pronounces it. He says Mein Kraft with the stress on Kraft, rather than Minecraft where you'd stress the mine.

Hence the joke "it's Minecraft, not Mein Kraft! It's not German, Hitler didn't write it!"

Kevin's pronunciation makes it sound more like how you'd say Mein Kampf.

God, I love Motherland! Ann and Liz are my favourites.
We use "alright Julia, I'll use a crispy towel" a lot in our house! Not a direct quote but it gets the point across "it's like drying myself on a weetabix"!
Also, "you ungrateful old cabbage" is thrown around a fair bit!
