Thought I'd make a new thread ready for tonight's episode...we've managed to fill the first one already!

I am done with Bronte after that. She's confirmed she's only there for the blue tick, so whatever. Harrison can have at it.

Thought the ixperts let Harrison off lightly as regards Dan. Shame Sandy didn't get the full picture as they knew it.

Melissa must be ruing the day she applied for this, what an utterly appalling, humiliating show of herself. How does she face anyone IRL after all these scenes?! It almost makes me feel sorry for her.

Glad to see the back of Shannon, was getting all annoyed at the prospect of another blue-Tick-whore staying on for the sake of it!

Interested in what Clare has to say next week..!

Yes Bronte can clearly see what a shit bag Harrison is. Obvious now she’s only there for the limelight.

Melissa is awful. I felt so sorry for Josh.
She has zero emotional intelligence/awareness. The way she sat there spouting such nasty things about him and then had the audacity to keep rubbing his back and asking him if he was ok. Like really??

Shannon’s only responses were to puff his lips everytime he was asked a question. He had no valid answer for any of his behaviour. Probably because he doesn’t really think his behaviour was that bad and was just feigning being apologetic to stay a bit longer.

I do know what Claire says, along with a few other bits that happen going forward, only because I’ve seen them on TikTok, but I won’t reveal!

mewkins · 28/03/2023 08:35

Bluetrews25 · 27/03/2023 21:01

Oh Claire!!!!!!
What are you going to confess to!
JUST when it was going well. FGS.
That new bride looks like a right piece of work.

I can take a guess at what Claire will reveal. Agh.

What fascinates me watching this is exactly what people consider to be absolutely fine in a relationship. I wonder if it's because they think they've signed up to a TV show rather than a relationship.

secretfreckle · 28/03/2023 10:14

Laughing so much at this thread and the descriptions of Shannon (100 year old shoe👍).

It was hilarious when he put the 'stay' wallet on the table, put his ring on top of it and then marched out. He clearly expected people to run after him or stop him.

No, thanks. Bye, Shannon.

MelsMoneyTree · 28/03/2023 10:16

I was wondering that too. Why stay when the relationship is obviously rubbish? There were three possible reasons I came up with - some for the fame; some because they see it as a contract they need to fulfil; some because they genuinely trust the experts.
With all the abusive behaviour on show this series, I think the experts need to make it clear they can all wave a white flag at any time - not just at commitment ceremonies; not just if their abuser writes leave on a card. The experts are responsible for putting these people together. They should also take responsibility for saying 'if you'd put this info on your application, we wouldn't have let you in so now we're putting you out.' Eg if Harrison wants to act like a single man and gaslight and Bronte wants to play surrendered wife - they can do it outside the 'experiment' and off screen.

HairyMcHairyFace · 28/03/2023 10:29

I think it says everything about Shannon that the minute Caitlin said she was leaving he threw a tantrum and left the room and that nobody followed him. I sincerely hope that he doesn't get any insta fame.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 27/03/2023 23:40

Love that the girls, minus Melissa, all seem to have each other’s back in this series. I love how they group hugged Caitlin.

To be fair, the boys were lovely with Josh in that episode. Telling Melissa what a real man was, and running after him. I think that there was no way Josh could have been made to stay even if they’d wanted him too - he didn’t say “I voted leave”, he said “I am going to leave”

Honeyroar · 28/03/2023 10:33

And no, we don’t want new couples at this stage - what’s the point??

RegainingTheWill2023 · 28/03/2023 10:36

Harrison got off lightly , at least in the bits we saw.
He wasn't pulled up at on throwing Dan under the bus (which the ixperts commented on during the dinner party) and didn't pull him up on the gaslighting he continued to do even on the sofa. All that bollocks about accepting Bronte's apology and being willing to stay because Bronte was now behaving the way he wanted ...WTF?

It was awful watching Josh. I wish they could have shown the bit from confessions week where he opened himself up completely and told her how he was feeling and Mel flat out ignored what he'd said. Summed her up completely. The ixperts let her off lightly too.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 28/03/2023 11:19

Just caught up. Poor Josh. Also good for Duncan pointing out a real man has the courage to be vulnerable. He's so lovely (also easy on the eye)

ImAGoodPerson · 28/03/2023 13:55

Felt so sorry for Josh, Melissa just cannot see she has behaved badly at all really. She had no clue how she comes across I don't think, she hasn't listened to anything that had been said to her.

Shannon just gets more and more unattractive, what a vile person. Harrison also dreadful.

There is something about Dan that makes me uncomfortable, he's not natural at all but obviously being in front of the camera doesn't suit everyone so not sure if it's that or if he just is a bit dodgy.

The others all seem to be giving it agood go, even if it doesn't really seem like it will work in the long run.

I don't understand this re Harrison at all. They are probably saving it for the reunion episode so everyone can gasp over it!!

TarotRiffleShuffle · 28/03/2023 16:59

Anyone remember the Riddlers in the 90s? That's who Shannon reminds me of!

MAFZ OZ UK pace 2 - no spoilers!
awaynboilyurheid · 28/03/2023 17:37

Haha yes a melted Riddler at that! He was so awful then trying to say he wanted to stay! glad at loooong last John finally pulled him up but why did Alexandra or Mel not speak up more? Especially to Melissa when she saw that everyone realised what a controlling, sex mad, nasty person she was suddenly tried to allude to Josh that she was drunk when they were intimate , that was like chucking a grenade in as If it was non consensual from her, thank goodness no one believed her. Just the most horrible person. Rubbing Josh’s leg like that made up it, poor Josh was just broken and I’m so glad the guys all went to him The ixpirts let her off far too lightly .

IAteAllTheTomatoes · 28/03/2023 17:39

Can I ask why some people refer to experts as ixperts? I know they are really rubbish experts bit I still don't get it?

Ixpert is experts with an australian accent.

buzz91 · 28/03/2023 18:08

Just watched last nights!

Also loved Alessandra’s burn for Harrison, even though I think it went straight over his head!

Watching Josh and sex pest was horrific, when they returned back to the sofa you could see he was trying to put distance between them and she shifted her way right up next to him and kept touching him, even though he was moving from her hand!

Love that John made Teflon talk and talk, he knew he was going to send them home! He just wanted Teflon to admit he was vile - yes! Him walking off in a paddy though after - still vile!

Also have a tv that spoilt the next episode by putting it in the synopsis 🤐

She is so awful. Josh is right, if the genders were reversed Mel would be judged very differently. I'm so glad the Ixperts allowed him, and Caitlin, the choice to leave because it was quite clear that neither of their spouses were good people or in the show to actually find someone

Bluetrews25 · 28/03/2023 19:29

I'm hoping that Claire's 'big reveal' is just the usual something-hyped-out-of-nothing shenanigans that they always do to keep up hooked.

SUBisYodrethwhenLarping · 28/03/2023 19:31

I think Claire did do something or almost did something with that guy on the phone can't remember his name he has a beard

Bluetrews25 · 28/03/2023 19:32

Don't unload your bags off that carrier, Bronte.

IAteAllTheTomatoes · 28/03/2023 19:33

Thank you, never would have got it!

SUBisYodrethwhenLarping · 28/03/2023 19:34

Please wash your hair Jesse

VooVooV · 28/03/2023 19:36

Bronte is an idiot.
I’m really warming to Jesse.
WTF Claire? That’s going to 💣 her and Jesse and Adam and Janelle….
